      A highlight of our trip!
This was one of our highlights in Tuscany, and our trip to Italy! It is an authentic Tuscan experience. We were warmly welcomed to Simone’s home surrounded by grape vines and olive trees. Simone taught our small group of 6 how to make spinach ravioli and tiramisu while we sipped on Chianti wine. Thank you, Simone, for sharing your home and love of cooking with us!

Chianti and Castle small group tour from Siena
We did the “Chianti and castle tour” (small group of 8 people) from Siena with this company. They picked up promptly at the arranged time and place, the driver was very knowledgeable of the region and the tastings were excellent. We’ve done a fair few English wine tasting experiences and this was better than those - a generous amount of tasters and some nice olive oil and balsamic vinegars to boot. what’s not to like? The 2 castled villages we visited were very charming and oozed history especially when “walking the walls”…. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

      Thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Our guide for the day was friendly and knew her stuff. We went to 2 vineyards, both with good wine but the second, Poggio ai Laghi in Monteriggioni, was the best with good wines and plenty of snacks. The young host, Valeska, was knowledgeable about the vineyard and very funny. She had the whole party joining in the fun. It wasn't the right time of year to see much on the vines but the wine tasting made up for that! A visit to a nearby village completed the day. Would go again.

      lovely tour and gorgeous surroundings
Lovely tour of a couple of vineyards in the beautiful Chianti region. Freddie was a highly personable and knowledgeable host/guide for the trip and both wineries had a lovely selection of wines. The first winery was cheaper from a purchasing perspective, however the second had a much broader selection of wines and such, but was quite expensive so would suggest shopping at the first wineyard if you're on a more budget friendly trip.

Great afternoon with wine and castles
The instructions for meeting the tour were clear and the driver was prompt. We visited two wineries and two castles. The castles were interesting and picturesque. The wineries both did a great job of handling large groups. We enjoyed the Chianti at the last winery much more than the first. A great way to spend an afternoon with friends!

      Great cooking class with Simone
This cooking class with Simone was so much fun! We made ricotta and cheese ravioli with fresh pasta made by us. We also made tira misu. Simone prepared tomato brushetta and cooked the raviolis then served us outside of the farmhouse. Delicious chianti available throughout. My daughter and I were part of a group of 8- nice size for a cooking class . Setting was a very old and interesting farmhouse in the very scenic Chianti countryside.

      Great experience!
This tour was amazing! The wineries were beautiful and the hosts were very welcoming. Contrary to other reviews we thought we had plenty of wine to drink and sufficient snacks. They also ship all your wine back for you which makes it so easy.

The tuscan country side is amazing! It should be on every bucket list...Our guide David was great...it would be 5 stars but our pi kup point was changed without a text which led to a very stressful morning. But once we were able to get to the new point our day tour was wonderful.

First, we didn't start the tour at 8:45AM as the itinerary stated. We got on the bus at 9AM and departed after checking everyone is on-boarded - not a good beginning already.

We joined this tour on Jan 1st and were informed by the tour guide that the winery is closed due to New Year and therefore we will have lunch with wine tasting in Siena. In reality, NO WINE TASTING. You just get a glass of red wine with your lunch (can be refilled after finished). Only one kind of the red wine and no information on what kind of wine it is. In my opinion, this is not a wine "tasting." The dining environment is not good. All placemats were overlapped - you can image how crowed it was.

Though we were disappointed that couldn't visit the winery, it's understandable as it's a special day, we just hope that we had an idea about this in advance so we could consider if this is really the tour we wanted. Even some description saying like "on special days such as Christmas and New Year etc., the winery might be closed" would be helpful. Perhaps the tour company can do more double checks with the winery and all other points included in this tour to avoid this happens.

We think the time stayed in each towns were too long. For example, we stopped in Siena from 11AM to 3:15PM. And after the guide counted everyone at the meeting point (large group so need time to do that again), we still had to walk about 20 minutes back to the bus. The free time in each towns can be shorten to make the whole schedule time ends earlier or add another place to visit so that the whole day tour is more enriched. I am not sure whether it's due to or it's just the normal schedule for this tour. Overall, we didn't feel the quality of this tour is worth the price we paid.

Good point: The bus is comfortable and clean. The tour in Siena was informative and good.

This was a full but very well-paced day that included the opportunity to see several beautiful and historic places in Tuscany! The wine tasting and lunch were great quality and fun, far beyond our expectations. Our guide, Rosa, took great care of us, and shared many fascinating facts and information about each of the sites we visited. We were impressed that the guides narrated the tour in three languages (English, Portuguese and Chinese) quite seamlessly. Our driver was excellent. I will definitely recommend this tour to anyone I know who will be planning a trip to Tuscany!

So the real itinerary is just the fortress, siena, san minignano. No winery, no any other places, which is very different from the description. We also stayed in siena from 11am to 3pm, which was a complete waste of time. By the time we got to san minignano it was already 4pm and it was completely dark so we couldn’t see anything. They really should know that it’s winter and sun sets early... also if you want to take good photo of Tuscany countryside, it’s not possible in this tour because they don’t take you to the winery and we were stuck in siena during day time.

If you have a day to spare while in Florence this is a very nice activity, I totally recommend it. Among 2 small medieval fortresses and a vineyard, you will visit a very spectacular city Siena, which in my opinion was the highlight of the tour. Regarding this I think the company should consider 2 hours of free time in Siena, because 1 hour goes by in an instant there, unfortunately.

The coach is super clean and well equipped, but you do have to note that the start and end point of the tour is outside Florence (whereas other companies start from the city). As a side note, it's pretty easy and comfortable to get to their starting location.

You get a guided tour in Siena, but I think it would be nice to get a guided tour in San Gimignano as well.

The guides were super nice throughout the day and even spiced up the time on the coach with a few surprises. ♥️ Stephanie was super fun, but I do believe that Valentina, who is the actual factual guide, needs to improve her English (vocabulary and pronunciation) because, at times, it becomes extremely difficult to understand and follow the story. 🙄

We went to the trip on the 25th of Feb. In the beginning we suffered a severe discrimination. The tour guide (Paula) treated us improperly. She acted like we carry coronavirus only because we are Asians. Even we explained that we have arrived at Europe since last year around August and we are from TAIWAN not China. She made us felt that we are guilty only because we are not European or not white by forcing us to wear a mask during the whole journey or we couldn’t join the tour. She said it is the policy of the company. However she informed us so suddenly that morning in front of the bus. We three girls were really helpless and felt extremely uncomfortable. What’s more, On the bus she also asked other guests to move away from us. But the truth is that we didn’t cough nor sneeze nor feeling ill; on the contrast, there was a guy that coughed several times but she was fine with that. Nevertheless the trip was nice and she took good care of all the guests and gave us a lot of information of the places, art, culture and custom.

Dear Customer, We appreciate you for taking you time to share your experience with us. Our customers satisfaction is our goal and priority, therefore we are sorry to know that you had to face this kind of inconvenience in the beginning of the tour with our team. Maybe our guide has been misunderstood. Her intention has never been to offend or discriminate anyone, but given that she had complaints by other people that didn't want to participate on the tour because they did not feel secure, caused this kind of behavior by her, that maybe not the best solution. However, this is just to let you know that our guide did not have any problems with your presence on the tour, but you may have already noticed it, as you mentioned that she took good care of you. We also ensure you that we will take into consideration all the information you provided to be able to avoid similar situations in the future and improve our services at our best. It was indeed special tour for many reasons: absolutely stunning sights, well organised, revealing the best of Tuscany. It was the last tour before company suspended activities due to COVID19 pandemic, therefore under the special circumstances our guide Enrica and driver Florenzo made a great job to comfort us and get the best impression of the region. Would love to return and explore more of Tuscany but this tour I would undoubtedly recommend as “must”

This tour is an excellent value for your travel budget. You'll comfortably travel to many locations in Tuscany and receive interesting information from the guides. We never would have been able to reach so many beautiful destinations on our own, so affordably and so easily. The lunch in Chianti is at a touristic center that sells wine, balsamic vinegar, olive oil cheese, etc. but the lunch and wine tasting which are included in the price was delicious and fun with the group. Our English speaking guide, Rosa, brought a lot of positive energy to the day. We were glad to be in her group.

The instructions for how you reach the starting point were very clear, which is great when you are in a city you don't know. The coach was comfortable and the staff friendly. The sites were amazing! It would have been good to have more information about them, some stories, told on the coach. It felt the 'tour' elements were lacking. There was a good deal of time spent on the coach so some interesting stories would have really made a difference. I would recommend this one - it is a great way to get a flavour of the Tuscany region in one day.

Paola was a fantastic tour guide who was very knowledgeable about the Tuscan region, including every small town in the Tuscan countryside that we visited. The lunch and wine tasting was wonderful, although it did not live up to the picturesque and romantic image of the winery I had conjured in my head based on movies like "Under the Tuscan Sun". The medieval towns were magnificent with their ancient towers and walls untouched. Siena and San Gimignano were my favorites. Ask your tour guide where to buy leather goods in San Gimignano because they directed me to a store that was very high quality where I bought a nice brief case and wallet. The gelato in San Gimignano was really great!

This was my first solo trip to Italy. I've always dreamt of Italy and Tuscany. I chose this day-long tour as it had a bit of everything. Carmen and her colleagues were swift with the management. It was well organised and managed. It ticked all the boxes, the touristy Pisa to the secluded San Gimignano, shopping for wine and truffle to posing for instagram-worthy pics, wine tasting, pasta, sightseeing, historic monuments, church visits, history... All rolled into one.

Carmen was well-informed and painstakingly translated every piece of information for the English and Spanish speaking tourists.

I was so impressed by the serenity and beauty of Siena that I decided to go back there again. Carmen gave me huge maps of Siena and informed me on how to reach there on my own... She also put me in touch with her local colleague who does this tour but I chose to see Siena on my own.

Will come back to Italy and do more tours with her. I'm not done with Italy yet. 😎
