Palma bay boat tour on a catamaran
A chilled out catamaran sail to 2 spots where the water is a lovely turquoise to swim. Decent food and drinks on board. Friendly staff.

          Great day!
We went on this trip while in Tenerife and had the best day. The tour guide Alex was great, and shared lots of information along the way. Lots of places to stop for snacks , toilets and photo opportunity! Was a great morning with amazing views!

          Highlight of our trip!
An unforgettable experience, the highlight of our trip! The crew were knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful to all those who suffered sea sickness & hadn’t quite found their sea legs yet (required help sitting & standing due to the choppy waves). We were lucky enough to see two species of dolphins and just had a truly wonderful experience. Couldn’t thank them enough!

Well looked after, and we got very lucky and saw dozens of dolphins.
Great trip, staff fantastic, lucky to see 2 different types of dolphin. I messed up the booking via TripAdvisor and needed to get a closer pick up location. All sorted in impeccable English the evening before by calling the company number. Comfortable coach trip from near our hotel to the jetty in Puerto Rico, and boarding was straightforward. Best seats at the front and side went quickly, but if you're fortunate to find dolphins the crew will help you see them wherever you're sat. Journey out took about 45 minutes and the crew worked very hard to find some dolphins for us. The first group were a small pod of around 10 bottle nose ones, like Flipper. The boar stopped and the dolphins swam around us giving us great views. It was very rocky on the boat so no good pictures, and I put my phone away and enjoyed the dolphins. We then moved off and found a large pod of about 40-50 Atlantic Spotted Dolphins. These were much smaller and there were numerous babies swimming alongside their mothers. This pod was having a lot more fun around the boat, jumping out of the water and coming very close. After about 10 minutes it was time to come back to port, a journey of about 40 minutes. Some tips: It's a privilege to see these creatures, and the crew tried really hard to find them. Be understanding if they don't come to you when you're out. If you think you might get seasick take something like stugeron beforehand. Keep your eyes on the horizon to help your brain process all the strange motion of the boat and that helps avoid sickness. Take a jacket in case you get cold. It was cloudy for part of our trip and the sea breeze made me wish I'd taken one. Listen to the crew - they had to remind people several times not to lift up their small children ( the risk of dropping them overboard is significant if you do this when the sea is choppy). A crew member brought a small child up to stand on the captain's chair so he could see. All in all a great trip, and huge respect for the crew who worked so hard to make it safe and fun for everyone.

          It was ok
Boat ride was nice , saw a pack of dolphins for a few mins , but then the boat went too close and scared them away , as for the “snorkelling” we just stopped outside the harbour and jumped in for a swim with no snorkel or anything! Nice thing to do but definitely not worth the money !

          Not the best Quad company
Our family booked the sunrise excursion, was picked up from our hotel in an absolute wreck of a van which stunk of petrol, so it wasn’t the best start to the trip. When the van dropped us off, we had to wait over an hour before we set off on the quads. The quads seemed just about road legal. When we reached the top of Mount Teide the views were amazing. We paid €180 euros for 2 quads (4 people) I would recommend this trip to anyone but pay a bit more and go with a better company,

          WARNING- EXTREMELY COLD
I just want to preface that this excursion overall was very beautiful and a cool experience. I was on an atv with my friend so one person sat in the back. Even though we were dressed in pants and sweatshirts we were also given jackets and gloves. Unaware of how incredibly cold it was going to get when we made our way up the mountain. As we got higher up on we began to shiver uncontrollably to the point where our teeth were chattering and it was hard to grip the throddle. Couldn’t feel our legs, hands, toes, and face- everything went numb. So to anyone who is interested in this activity and wants to make their experience more enjoyable- dress in layers because I have never been so miserable and cold in my entire life. To the staff/ company- my advice to you would be to provide pants, THICK thermal socks, some type of scarf or neck warmer situation, warmer jackets, and better gloves.

          An Amazing Trip
Excellent service from start to finish. Picked up at the hotel on time in a lovely air conditioned coach and taken to the harbour. There was plenty of space on the boat and the crew were incredibly helpful and friendly. They worked tirelessly to spot a pod of dolphins and we were lucky enough to spend time watching them in their natural habitat while making sure we weren't disturbing them too much. I couldn't recommend this enough and if you're looking for trip to do then this is the one. Thank you to everyone on the Spirit of the Sea.

          Fun on the Mediterranean
Great day on the water! Crew was everything you wanted them to be-- professional, friendly, knowledgeable, informative and fun! Catamaran was large with plenty of room in sun or shade. Lunch was a delicious variety with plenty for everyone.

          Best day ever!!!
Very nice trip! It was much more that we expected! Very tasty buffet-lunch: vegetables, wraps, hamburgers, nachos, grilled chicken and much more. Katamar-ship was clean and spacy to take sun. Swimming was great. Stuff was friendly. It was really worth of money.

          A Dolphin Good Time!
This trip was informative and fun! As like any sort of trip involving wild animals, don't expect to see anything. Luckily for us, we had a good 20 minutes worth of seeing dolphins, which was absolutely fantastic. Even the boat ride was a good time, though be prepared to hold on as the water does get choppy!

Fabulous trip, picked up from hotel and dropped back off around 2pm! Wonderful guide who was very knowledgeable, the scenery on the bus is breathtaking and there are some demonstrations that show how hot it still is under ground! We stopped for a camel ride on the way back, we didn't fancy it so we just visited the gift shop and enjoyed an ice cream in the sun! On the way back, we visited a winery where we tried the most delicious wine liquor with a hint of honey! A great trip that I would definitely recommend for the family (perhaps kids over the age of 10 unless they have great attention spans!)

Extremely worthwhile booking this tour. Guides are fantastic, pickup is super convenient, no long waits in queues and after so many activities we still had our afternoon free.

Recommended if you don't want to worry about tickets, queues, catching the right bus or finding parking.

We went on a rare cold windy day with one short shower on the Camel-Tour. Pickup was ontime, nice drive to the park, good information on the way. Not too busy, so we started the Timanfaya tour with a short walk to three demonstrations. You get a handful of hot pebbles in your hands (heated by underground lavastream. You will see how easy a bushfire can start ( be glad that there is a few meters of solid soil under your feet, and that the volcano has been dormant for 200 years). And you will see a demonstration of geysers (it is not Yellowstone park!). It is a nice way to show what happens around volcanoes ... not very exciting. The 45 minute drive thru the park in your bus, makes you very appreciative of the skills of the driver. Wherever you look you see solid lava, rocks, gravel, sand, in all shapes and multiple color with little vegetation. Some of you will not want to look down outside the bus. The tour to the wineyard La Geria was interesting because of the way the grapevines grow on lavasand. Some of you will like the sweet or dry white wine. The half day tour was fun and worth it.

We took a tour (organised by P&O as part of our cruise) to the Fire Mountain and the Timanfaya Park. A half-day visit by coach was quite adequate and very interesting. The scenery is so different to anything you could see in the UK, with its volcanoes and the unusual style of viniculture. We watched the fires being started from the hot roacks and the cascades of water (poured down into the rock fissures), and there's a good cafe facility, and planty of parking. Well worth a visit.
