          Viva Transfers: Lanzarote Airport
We have just returned from a fabulous holiday to Lanzarote. We arranged for a private return transfer from the airport to Playa Blanca. We previously booked the transfers but due to a number of reasons we had to rearrange our holiday. Viva Transfers were excellent at helping us with these changes and keeping our original booking. This was very much appreciated. We had very friendly and excellent drivers, being picked up outside the airport to the hotel, and on return, back to the front door of the airport. Transfers are excellent value, reliable and a brilliant way to start and finish your holiday. A big thanks to Victoria and the entire team at Viva Transfers, we’ll be booking with you again on our next trip to Lanzarote.

          Just ok
Our flight changed so I emailed to advise and had confirmation but was left at the airport with no pick up, no one answering any phones and no desk to go to for support. Had to get taxis and tried numerous times to get a refund to no avail. They did pick us back up to the airport and was very punctual but I am disappointed and will not use again !

          Grand tour from Hotel Galeon
We did this tour booked through the Hotel ,which is excellent too by the way!! After picking a few others up we went on our way. Couldn’t believe what we would have missed if we hadn’t done, definitely well worth it. Starting with a camel ride. Then onto the natural parks. Golfo amazing, Vineyards were great and so interesting with the way they grow the vines. Goats cheese very nice. Lunch excellent and great value. Finished off at the jameos del agua. Stunning oasis and theatre setting designed by an artist. Driver was as brilliant and the lady Julia was excellent in her wisdom and languages 😊. Brilliant day… do it!!

          Grand Tour of Lanzarote
LCT Europe Tour provided an excellent day out. Pick up from hotel and 5 stops on the grand Tour. Timanfaya National Park, the Green Lagoon and many others. Smooth driving by our driver through the National Park...a must do via the organised tour as you can skip all the ques as you are part of a group. National Park is mad busy only way to bevseen is by and organised tour. As the ques in hired cars is 2 hrs long. Beautiful tour overall. Fabulous landscape. Very nice lunch halfway through the day. Our guide and driver were top notch. Highly recommended tour via the above company.

          Great tour with Angela!!
Our tour guide, Angela, picked us up right on time at the ship in a very nice van for our group. She was extremely knowledgeable and advised she lived there all her life, so she took us to some beautiful oceanfront locations not normally on tour. We absolutely loved the ride around the national park. Our group decided to skip the camel ride and she took us to a cute vineyard/winery for samples and then to an area dedicate to farmers which was beautiful. If you get Angela, you will be in great hands!

Had no tour basically. After leaving me without confirmation for several days, the operator just cancelled my booking without any explanation.

          Comfortable minibus transfer
Greeter was waiting in the arrivals hall even though we were 2hrs delayed. I was surprised that the minibus was in the higher bus park 200 metres away and not in the taxi rank which would have been more convenient. I tried to book a return trip to the airport when the holiday finished but I was unconvinced that my request was understood?

Discovered the beauty of Lanzarote- no other place on earth like it!!
We did the full day tour and it was the highlight of our trip to Lanzarote! I couldn’t recommend this tour more highly - the tour guide was engaging, fun and very knowledgeable (7th generation local). Our children 7 and 10 loved it and learnt and discovered the beauty and nature of the island. We covered so much but at no point did we feel rushed or bored. The guide went out of their way to make our experience exceptional - ensuring we were at Timanfaya before the crowds and big buses and when at the final cave stop there was a large tour crowd she stepped in and gave us a personal tour. We were unsure if the long day would be too much for the kids especially with an early (8am) pickup but it was a brilliant day and we couldn’t have experienced the same on our own. Amazing - worth every €

Grand Tour Experience: The footprint of the landscape - Great tour and worth every Euro!
What a great day we have had today on the Grand Tour. Our tour guide Angela was fantastic; very personable and knowledgeable and a delight throughout the day. A full day sounds a long time, but the time went so quickly as Angela kept up a brilliant dialogue throughout, without being boring or too much. The Lanzarote Experience Tour (LET) may be more expensive than other tours but in our opinion well worth the money. There was no queuing, the group (on our trip there were only 5 of us; my wife and I and another family of 3) which skipped the queue at each of the stops while the larger tour buses were still organising themselves. We had plenty of time at each location and Angela on hand to answer any questions any of us had. We can't speak highly enough of Angela and the tour as a whole. We should also not forget our excellent driver, Christina. Throughout the tour we felt safe and comfortable and in good hands. If you are reading this and looking for an in-depth view of the tourist "hot-spots" (literally!) then look no further, you will not be disappointed.

The best way to see the main attractions on Lanzarote
This company specialises in SMALL tours, so you don't waste an hour at the beginning & the end of the day collecting/dropping off a whole bus load of people. There's a further advantage in having a guide with so few tourists that everybody hears what is being said & has the opportunity to ask questions. OK, they're a bit more expensive, but boy, do you get value for money!

          Excellent small group tour
Excellent tour and well worth the premium to be part of a smaller group. We were fortunate enough to be in a party of 8, 4 nationalities, on a minibus with Angela a fabulous guide explaining everything in both English and Spanish - plus a little German. The smaller group and vehicle size really enhanced our experience of the caves and volcanic tour. 100% recommend as an excellent way to tour the highlights of the island. We learnt and saw so much.

Chose this trip because of the limited numbers. Good communication before trip. Punctual pick up and comfortable minibus coach. Picked up other customers at a mutually convenient point - no long drop off journeys.
Our guide Angela was excellent. She told us the itinerary and timings and all the way through her commentary was interesting and informative. She is a native of Lanzarote and her background info on the island, its history and trends were as informative as the landscape was beautiful.
As we drove straight into the Timanfaya Nat park, there was a long queue of cars on the road outside and 2 more shorter queues on the road up to the car park at the Timanfaya centre, so was well worth the private trip since we breezed past all of them. Also we stayed on our minibus for the Volcano park trip rather than have to transfer to a large coach.
The centre had natural heat tubes that had grilled chicken on and steam spouts shown by the staff.
Camel ride was fun. The wine tasting probably one thing that could be dropped but did allow varied departure to separate places again avoiding long drop off times.
Would thoroughly recommend this trip. many thanks to Angela for making it so interesting.

Touring around Timanfaya, El Golfo and Jameos del Agua in the national park was a real highlight of our stay on the island.
The volcanic landscape and its various features are visually spectacular but the tour (in an AC minibus with a max 14 guests) with a local guide is what adds so much more to the experience.
Our excellent guide Angela provided an informed and knowledgeable commentary throughout, not just about the national park and it’s attractions but about the island, it’s history, customs and ways of life.
Our stops took in all the photo opportunities, the camels and the vineyards. We started early at 8am, returning 1pm and the early start gets you in front of the large coach groups.
Benefits of this tour aside of the commentary and being a small group is Angela’s ability to navigate queues (she seems to know everyone!) and, in the minibus you avoid decamping into the large coaches which you otherwise have to do in the park itself.
I pre-booked this and wasn’t disappointed in anyway at all; it was worth every penny, a really interesting and enjoyable experience for all the family (yes even our teenagers positively endorsed the experience as not the “bus trip” they thought Dad had sighed up to”!!)
        So highly recommended- booking essential….
Thank you Angela for a memorable tour.

This was an excellent tour which covered the main attractions on the island in one day. We upgraded to a full day tour (which included the cactus garden and caves in the north) after the half day tour finished as we were enjoying it so much.

Paul the tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny, Silvestre the minibus driver got us around the island quickly and safely.

Would definitely recommend this tour rather than doing the different attractions individually as it will be cheaper, you will learn more and you won’t have to queue for anything.

        Thanks for an amazing trip!

We had an 8am pickup by Angela who was on time and very welcoming. There was only 1 other passenger pickup and the minibus (capacity 20) was spacious, very clean, new with air con. The early start is well worth it as we skipped the queues and got there for the national park opening at 9am. The tour is amazing. Such a fascinating almost lunar landscape and great detail on the volcanoes and the eruptions with of course the demos at the centre/restaurant. Other extras are the wine area, green lake, and a few other photo op places enroute including of course the camel ride stop (11 euro extra if you opt for the camel ride) which was a hit with the 2 teens. This 5 hour tour is perfect for a family with teens and as this is a smaller group tour much more personalised and can be adapted to suit needs. Highly recommended for neuro diverse families/kids with autism as short in length and smaller tour and beats the crowds. We had been thinking of hiring a car to do this and we are so glad we didn’t as cars get lowest priority entry and we saw the massive queues for cars as we left. Spending hours queuing in a car to get in is not my idea of a relaxing holiday so we were glad we chose this small family run operator. Yes it is pricier than the big coaches but a totally different experience than being herded on and off an enormous coach. Thanks Angela for a great day out and showing us your love for your beautiful island.

A unique experience a viewing this stunning volcanic landscape. There is an entrance fee but you then park your car and get on one of the tour buses which drive around the National Park. There’s an ongoing commentary in several languages on the history of the volcanic activity etc and the coach slows down or stops at strategic points so you can take in the layers of lava flow and craters giving plenty of photo opportunities. There also a number of active ‘blow holes’ where one of the staff pour water into the holes causing a geyser like effect when the cold water hits the heat. They also ‘barbecue’ chicken etc over a larger cavity and it’s amazing to feel the heat still coming from a dormant volcano (last eruption was 200 years ago. Certainly a good fact finding place to visit and experience.

Unfortunately the day we had booked this tour was a day it was very cloudy and rained, but was still amazing. Paul was our tour guide, and he was so nice and helpful, very informative, and had a great sense of humor.

We were picked up right at our hotel at 8 and began in El Golfo in hopes that the clouds would move away from Timanfaya. El Golfo was beautiful and the green lagoon was cool! Great scenery all around.

We continued to journey to Timanfaya, and since the clouds did not move away were given some time in the cafe for a coffee. Our group was one of the first ones there in the cafe and beat the crowd, so it was nice since we got to get tables, get our coffee, and use the restrooms with no line. I read this tour guide likes to get to Timanfaya when it opens to beat the rush, and that was great!

Like I said the clouds did not move, but we continued on the tour to see the temperature tests near the cafe and saw the chicken being cooked from the ground temperature. We then continued on the driving tour of the mountain, and got really good explanations. The terrain was unlike anything I had seen and I am sad it rained, but no one can control the weather.

We then went to winery to taste the wine. Because of the rain we didn't get the option to do the camel ride, which we understood. The winery was nice and the wine was great!

After we were brought back directly to our hotel. I would probably do this tour again if we were back in Lanzarote since we didn't feel like we got the full experience because of the rain. But aside from the weather, it was a great 1/2 day tour!

This was a wonderful tour! Lanzarote was a port of call for our cruise. Our guide, Angela, was very easy to locate once we got off the ship ( not always the case with other tour companies) and she was exactly on time.

We loaded into a private van and off we went. Angela is a local, been there her whole life. She expertly explained to us the history of the island and answered any questions we had while we were in route to the volcanic national park on this island.

Once we got to the park Angela took us around the visitor center where the staff dump water down a hole that leads directly to a volcano! Naturally, the water then shoots out like a geyser. Also, you can see the staff place brush on a piece of the land where it will simply ignite because you are literally on a volcano!

After that you are on a bus to explore the volcanic land that looks like something out of Mars.

Following the volcanic park we chose to do camel rides, very fun! Lastly, Angela took us to a winery! The island has several wineries. Angela was honest with us, she told us the wineries that weren't very good and took us to one that was very good, especially the white.

I highly recommend this tour if you happen to be on the island.

        Totally recommending!
We had the excursion on 14 July as a couple on a tour shared mini bus (for 14 people) with only one mom and her kids.
Angela, who was our guide on the tour is very knowledgeable about Lanzarote and shared plenty of interesting insights about the island history, landscape formation and other good to know things. Also, she is local islander and so she is proud to share her passion about the unique beauty of Lanzarote to the tourists.
The bus was sanitized, as we were the first ones, who were picked up. Everybody wore face masks on the bus and in closed places with other people, but in empty places we were able to take them off and make amazing photos. Hand sanitizers were used throughout the tour, so it was pretty safe for us and people around.
Last but not least, Angela made photos and videos of us during the trip and shared a final video of everything combined on a next day.
Overall, if you like personal attention of the guide, utilize this opportunity to have almost a private tour on a reasonable cost.

8 of us took this tour with Angela. You cannot dispute her passion for her homeland but she was right when she said on several occasions, there’s nothing to see here. You can only see so many rock formations before they become a little boring. Camel rides were a bit disinteresting and I don’t like the idea of 2 people on each camel. We rode camels in tangier and it was one per person, this double weight I didn’t care for. Otherwise it was an ok trip, Angela was delightful and it was a very comfortable vehicle

Go early and drive yourself or get a tour bus from your town. By late morning, as we left, the cars were queuing past the entrance and into the road - at a standstill waiting for people to leave so they could park.
I loved this, but I have a fascination with mountains, volcanoes and seeing new things. The volcano tour is 35 mins of very similar terrain with the thrill of steep drops and the interesting commentary in 3 or 4 languages - I can't see many children wanting to sit through it. If you sit on the right hand side of the bus you get more distance/different views than if you sit on the drivers side. The coffee shop is pleasant and well situated. We didn't eat there but the volcano cooked meats smelled and looked so good
