      Incredible! Highly recommend!
Our favorite excursion in Tenerife! We highly, highly recommend. Not physically demanding since it’s all downhill, but definitely helps to be comfortable on a bike and have a little bravery since you do ride the brakes downhill most of the time. That said, the views were incredible. You see pine trees, cacti, palm trees, all kinds of terrain and cute towns that make Tenerife special. The bikes are really nice (Specialized, for those familiar), and they provided helmets, gloves, and jackets. Most importantly, our guide Anna was GREAT - so knowledgeable, friendly, conscientious, and always looking out for our safety. The group size is small (7-8) which was another plus, great to meet others but also not too big that you ever feel overlooked and all get to know each other well. We went as a couple, but you’ll make friends if you don’t. The wine stop was another highlight! The wine was delicious, and the woman at the winery was also very nice! You get a free glass and can taste or shop for others. With stops, you never go more than 30-40 min (might’ve been less) without a stop somewhere to snap pictures or see the sights. I wish I had brought a small backpack with water and room to bring a bottle of wine home. If you like biking at all, we recommend this excursion! Great views and great value!

A well run and enjoyable excursion
This small tour excursion was very good value. It was punctual and proved to be accurately described on the provider’s website. The van journey into the mountains was comfortable, the bikes and accessories provided were more than fit for purpose whilst the wine and cheese stop was relaxing and allowed for interaction with the other group participants. The tour leader Anna expertly supervised the ride downhill which enhanced the overall enjoyment and kept the group safe. Definitely an amazing experience.

      Great cycle
Overall great day! We started off with a 50 min drive to the high point and rode back to the start. The ride was all downhill so minimal exertion . It was a bit chilly on the way down but we were given jackets to wear so all good. We stopped off for wine and cheese tasting which was great. We got a full glass of of wine included and could pick others to taste. The wine was well priced at 8 euros a bottle with no pressure to buy - we brought some to take home. The bikes are well maintained. There are some quite steep descents and cycle mostly on road but felt safe. The roads were not busy. Joel was a great leader and kept the group together and entertained.

      Tenerife south bike tour
Excellent bike adventure. 98% of the cycling is down hill, and is very exhilarating in places. The guide today was Nico, we stopped off at two small villages on our descent, only for 5 minutes but enough to be told about the village. The stop at the vineyard was excellent, where we could choose a glass of wine from the vineyards local produce. There was a selection of red , whites and rose, accompanied by some nibbles. I bought a bottle of wine at 9 euros which I thought was reasonable. Highly recommend your. nNico was an excellent guide.

Wonderful views of Tenerife whilst cycling down from El Teude
Great trip with Daniel from Italy he was an excellent guide, has a good sense of humour and gave us lots of information along the way. In particular he made sure everyone was safe and constantly looked out for passing traffic. Would definitely recommend this company.

This was a fantastic and easy way to experience the views from the mountain above the clouds. Daniel was great company and kept us smiling. The wine and cheese was good a nice break even at 11:00! There was no pressure selling. Loved it!

Great day. Bikes. Wine. Downhill. Can’t beat it
Lovely day out with Nico! We were driven up to 2200 metres and then rode down well tarmaced roads stopping at key sites on the way down to Los Cristionas. The winery stop was of course the highlight with 7 or 8 excellent wines to choose from. Great day. Outstanding views. Good wine. Smooth roads. Downhill. What’s not to like!

      Nice day out
Really enjoyed this. Im not really a biker either, but was almost all downhill, so easy peasy. Nick made sure we were safe & looked after. Really liked the little stop at the winery too. Wouldnt do if under 16 or over 60 though. Serious & constant braking on the way down. Good fun.

      Beautiful day!
Excellent day out from start to finish. The tour guide (Daniel) was amazing, he made sure everyone was safe throughout the journey and directed other traffic accordingly. The bike ride is literally all downhill, so all that’s required is good use of your brakes and steering of your ‘top of the range’ mountain bike. You are provided with a helmet, gloves and fluorescent wind jacket, so it wasn’t cold when we arrived at the start of the journey back down Mt. Teide! The wine and cheese tasting visit was fantastic. You have a choice of several organic wines to choose from and you receive some nibbles with goat’s cheese. An extra glass of wine is reasonably priced at €3.50, and you can also buy a bottle for €13.50 (we opted for a lovely red)! A great trip, an excellent tour guide, stunning views, reasonably priced, (a review from two amateur bikers!)

Great bike tour made even better by the wine and cheese!
Great downhill biking adventure. I’m not an experienced cyclist and found this trip very doable. Great new bikes and an attentive guide Nico. Mostly on main roads but some nice detours through pretty villages with plenty of stops to take photos etc. The wine and cheese was really good, would definitely recommend the white ecological one! Took about 4hrs for 31km, all downhill!!!

Amazing views and not tiring as it's mostly downhill.
What a great way to spend a few hours seeing the beautiful scenery above Los Cristianos. The team from Explore were excellent and Nico our host/guide for the morning was knowledgeable and helpful. The wine and cheese on the stop were first class and the chap at the Vineyard was lovely. Great value and our fellow cyclists from UK and Netherlands made the trip even more special.

35 km ride down Mount teide
Brilliant day...Daniel led the trip and his English was excellent...there was another guide who's name I can't remember who was also very good.. Bikes were in great condition.. Nice stop at winery on way down.. After 20 mins my girlfriend wasn't liking the heights involved and the staff were great again taking her rest of way down in van... Probably only time I'm going to experience 35 km downhill ride and would highly recommend to any keen cyclist

My husband and I did both Kayaking with the dolphins and swimming with the turtles. What an experience!!! Absolutely fantastic. There was no sense of being on a time limit. So much so that on our second day when we were swimming with turtles the owner saw the dolphins in the distance and we got a second chance to kayak with the dolphins. We were so close to the turtles that I could have reached my hand out and touched them. This was the highlight of our 30th anniversary trip to Tenerife. It is a must. I’m still talking about it and at present I’m trying to arrange a holiday to Tenerife with my adult children so that we can all have this experience. So close to nature. Wonderful

Me and my boyfriend chose this company to go kayaking when on holiday and it was 100% worth it!

Our guide was really good and made sure everyone kept up, he was very passionate and clearly loved his job as he took us to the cliffs for snorkelling and tried his best to find some turtles and dolphins for us to see.

Highly recommend and best part is the guide takes photos of everyone in the group and they also take photos of wildlife that you see when out!!

After about 20 minutes of actual kayaking, you arrive at fish farms, where you are very likely to see some dolphins swimming around the fish farms and perhaps also an occasional sea turtle. After that, you can spend about 10/15 minutes snorkelling (we didn’t see anything in particular, not sure if we were unlucky).

While seeing the dolphins is of course a nice experience, it all feels a little commercial and an easy way to exploit the nearby fish farms.

Also, from the 2.5 hour trip, you spend about 1.5 hour on carrying the kayaks to the beach, receiving instructions, and waiting for the rest of your group. While at sea, you are being rushed, together with other groups from other agencies, to stay ahead of the next batch that leaves 30 minutes after you.

The €40 euro per person wasn’t worth it in our opinion.

    ‘Twas bangin.
We had Luca as our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate and was able to answer all of our many questions. There was a short paddle over to the next bay along, which was not particularly strenuous, especially for those who had kayaked before. We snorkelled within touching distance of two turtles (you are not allowed to touch the turtles) and also saw a few other fish too. To top off the excursion, as we paddled back to the beach we had our own “private show” from a pod of at least five bottlenose dolphins. We were extremely lucky with the amount of wildlife we saw, but even if we had seen nothing, I would still consider the trip to be brilliant value for money. I could not recommend this trip enough!!
    Thank you Luca!

Excellent tour: it was better than standard kayaking because we went further away from the coast, while feeling completely safe. On top of that, we saw sea turtles (from very close distance!), and a few dolphins (from a distance). Our guide was a professional, making sure everybody in the group sees the turtles and dolphins. We couldn't see much with snorkels, maybe because of the weather conditions, but it was still refreshing to swim a bit. Even when the weather was 22 degrees, it was very enjoyable and not cold thanks to the workout :) Take water, sunglasses/hat, and nothing else needed! Our guide took our pictures and sent them right after. Really enjoyed this day, many thanks!

    worst guided tour ever!!!
we had to wait at the beach for about 30 minutes because the previous tour was late. our guide gave us very brief instructions on how to do kajak at the beach. I was the only one who never did kajaking before. Although we told the guide my husband and I were the last ones to get a kajak. As soon as the other group returned everybody grabbed a kajak including the guide. And they all were far out at the sea until we managed to get a kajak from latecomers of the previous tour.
Although the guide was aware that a never did kayaking before he didn’t even wait for me and left with the rest of the group. My husband and I were alone with the kajak. I didn‘t even know how to sit correctly and how to paddle. It took me a while to find out how it works.
When the guide finally decided to wait for us he told us that this was our last chance to return. As my husband responded that we would like to take part in the tour he told us that we were about to go out to the open sea und that we are going to snorkel at the open sea (I did that several times before - so what’s the point and what has it to do with kajaking?). He told us that he was willing to give us a chance (how nice) and that we could go with the group until we reached a big boat. But when we arrived at the boat with other kajaks of our group the guide was far out on the sea again and we didn’t even had the chance to tell him we are willing to take part.
So we returned to the beach. When I paused to take a picture (approx. one minute) another guide (with a group) came along who asked us if everything was ok and why we are not returning to the beach because our guide informed him about that. So we had to get back with the other group. Although we booked a three hours tour we were only allowed to use the kajak for about 50 minutes. We had to return the kajak to the store by ourselves. NO REFUND WAS OFFERED. No friendly word was said.

one last addition regarding the equipment: the snorkeling kits weren’t properly disinfected. After the snorkel was used they only sprayed three hubs of an disinfectant spray on it and gave it to the next costumer.

What a trip! If you love being out at sea on a kayak then this is for you! Not only was Luca the tour guide really friendly he was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and surrounding area including which restaurant to eat in. We had a great time turtle spotting! Sadly the dolphins were hiding but the turtle made up for that. The snorkeling was awesome too and such a great experience.

We chose this company to do a kayak trip with snorkeling. They were the cheapest but still very well organized, they had good material and our guide Guillaume was thoughtful and knowledgeable. We were lucky that there was nearly no wind so the kayaking was not too difficult. Guillaume took pictures that were sent to us for free. We saw a few dolphins up close and during snorkeling, there was a the sea turtle that the rest of the group did see but my husband and I didn't... that's nature. There is not a lot to see under water. Do the trip for the kayaking in itself, the dolphins and any under water sealife is a bonus.

Thoroughly enjoyed my recent kayaking trip. Our guide Jessica was very good and knowledgeable and made sure none of us got left behind. She also took pictures of us and emailed them over after free of charge. We saw dolphins by the fisheries which was amazing and they were jumping out of the water. Then we snorkelled by the cliffs, unfortunately we didn’t see any turtles but we saw fish. There were a few diver groups which might be why we didn’t see them. I chose a lovely calm day and the kayaking was tiring (more so because I was in a solo kayak) but so lively and peaceful on the water. It can get hot on the water so bring water and wear a hat.
