Bit of an anti-climax, but fun nonetheless 😁
Lovely time out on the sea! Weather wasn't great so didn't really see much. Would consider doing it again in the summer. The guys on the boat were great, even carrying a lady who had broken her foot/ankle (not sure which), down to the boat from the harbour.

        Lovely day trip by ferry
It was a lovely ferry trip to Corralejo in Fuerteventura. We took the 9:30 ferry out and returned on the 17:30 ferry. This gave us plenty of time to explore Corralejo, do some shopping and get some lunch. We had a nice walk along the beach front and in the town. The only issue was that TripAdvisor didn't give a proper location of where to claim our tickets or where the ferry was. It gave the general address of the port. The Lineas Romero office was in a white building about a 5 minutes walk from the ferry. We ended up going directly to the ferry and the staff there told us where to get the tickets. We had just enough time to get our tickets and get back to the ferry. Also there didn't seem to be any free WiFi.

EXCELLENT TOUR, GREAT VIEWS, GREAT STAFF.
A fantastic coach tour with lots to see and do. The volcano tour is amazing, the volcano road is spectacular and only passible by authorised buses & coaches. You cannot drive this road in your private vehicle or go on foot. The lava flows and craters are incredible to see. Also you visit a spectacular mountain top restaurant which sits on top of an active lava chamber, they cook on the lava heat and do some spectacular tricks with water poured down a bore hole! For lunch the coach stopped at a restaurant for an all you can eat buffet if you wish to have it at €15 a person, this is also included a bottle of complimentary sangria and water, I thought the food was lovely and good value. We also visited a wine vineyard and an aloe vera museum which were both interesting and had plenty of things to spend your money on if you desire! Lastly we stopped at the green lake which is an interesting sight, the beach was spectacular too with large waves crashing on the rocks. The ferry crossing was very choppy, weather can't be helped though! Staff were excellent, speaking in multiple languages and working tirelessly, also the coach driver was excellent. I highly recommend this tour.

        Not organised very well.
Wasted 3 hours of my time. Do not recommend. Poorly organised and did not need authorisation as requested. Not as described at all.

        Not particularly well organised
The trip that we took was essentially just express ferry tickets across to the island. We had to make our own way to the ferry terminal and when we arrived, we were told that most of the fairies were booked up and we had to wait an hour and a half for the next one. The ferry ride itself was very enjoyable. When we arrived at the island, we had a lovely day as we had free time and nothing was scheduled. I have family on the island so we spent the time with them. I don’t really know what we would’ve done otherwise, they didn’t look to be that much to do in the port except for shops and the beach.

A fantastic tour all round. Jam packed with must see sights, very informative and breathtaking scenery. The volcano road is fabulous and cannot be done by car or on foot.

        Sunset cruise
After looking through things to do we picked the sunset cruise. From the moment I booked, the communication with the company was excellent, receiving information when we were being picked up and where. Arrival at the boat and the cruise was lovely and the time passed to quickly and the sun setting was beautiful, unfortunately no dolphins today but we would recommend.

Great day out on a boat
Friendly crew Paella and Spanish Omlette beautiful Lovely day on the boat However, I don’t feel we explored La Graciosa at all. Snorkelling wasn’t great as water, understandably, very deep where the boat can stop. But fun afternoon out and all professionally done.

Had the best time! Came for our baby moon and wasn’t sure what I would be able to safely enjoy but this was great! I even got into a kayak and went for a swim . Brilliant crew and value for money.

        Interesting Tour
Went to a few places Lagomar and Mirador del Rio, but the main place on the tour was the visit across on the ferry to La Graciosa. Sadly, the sea was quite choppy on the way out and I was regretting going on the trip. Once we reached La Graciosa, we got off one ferry and immediately got on another boat where our lunch of a sea food paella was served to us (pasta was available for those who didn’t eat fish). The paella was quite tasty. We then fed the fish and the main part of the trip to this island then began, albeit it was very windy. With our tour guide explaining the history of the island, after showing us a couple of places we finished in the charming sea faring church. We then had some free time to explore near where we got off the ferry and to have a coffee or snack etc.

        Pleasant short boat trip
We saw this the last time that we were on holiday here and this time decided to see what Puerto Calero was like. The trip there and back was pleasant and it was on a day when the sea was calm, and the sun was out. The boat was clean, the crew were friendly and as it has a glass bottom area it was good to look at the fish. It was nice to see another area and it was good that it was the market day there (Friday). There are a fair few restaurants along the marina and it was good to wander round and look at the boats. It takes less than 30 minutes to get there, but we were glad we were staying in Puerto del Carmen.

I have been on many Catamaran excursions, from Mexico to Bulgaria. It's my "go to" thing to do when on holiday. I have to say from experience, this is one of the best I have experienced.

Spanish omlette served upon embarking was a nice touch.

Staff superbly attentive, very knowledgable and we were even treated to a pod of bottlenose dolphins who came to visit our boat on the return trip. All inclusive drinks were flowing and music playing right from the moment we boarded the boat to the moment we disembarked. Lunch was also fantastic, with a choice of pasta of seafood Paella.

The swim stop was around 90 minutes and it was fantastic to swim around and underneath the boat as well use the Kayaks if you wanted.

Would highly recommend anyone to participate in this activity and it represents good value for money. I would not hesitate to do this trip again should I return to Lanzarote!

We enjoyed the best day on the catamaran to Papagayo. The team looked after us from a welcome mojito & Spanish omelette to providing a great experience using the kayaks and watermat and giving us all confidence to jump and dive off the boat. Lunch was delicious paella or pasta, followed by fresh fruit. We met some great people and enjoyed a party atmosphere on our return journey with beer and sangria flowing. This was our second time on the catamaran and if possible was better than out first experience in 2022. I have no hesitation in recommending this fabulous day out

I was slightly disappointed after i reflected on the trip.
You spend about 2-2.5hours commuting to/from papagayo over some fairly bumpy waves, that part is fairly dull. And when you get to papagayo you are at least 100m away from it. So you can't get to it in the time you have there.

When we arrived we only had 20mins before lunch to have a swim, and then after lunch only another 30mins to swim / finish up.
In terms of where we stopped off at papagayo, it wasn't anything special, plenty of fish to see but you get that at any beach. (playa chica is teeming!)

It was still a hugely enjoyable day and kids loved it!

Suggestions to owners, look for somewhere 30mins away and let people swim / kayak for longer. (we'd do that next year!)
Also, don't keep people queued off the boat for 15mins prior to boarding with the engines running. I'd prefer to wait on land than stand on a moving jetty with engines pumping out smoke.. Not a great start for those prone to seasickness!

Thank you for your feedback. At the moment the boat is staying where it is as many of our clients also enjoy the sailing and the beautiful scenery. There is about two hours in total by the beach with time to swim, enjoy the water activities and eat. How to dispose that time is up to each and every one. That said we are constantly adding and products, so if you enjoyed the the excursion as a whole, please have a look at our excursion program if you ever come back- because who knows what the future holds ;)

When booking, we were told we’d be sailing on a catamaran to see beautiful beaches, with the possibility of dolphins. It sounded amazing and we were really looking forward to the trip, however our experience was extremely disappointing. Our boat was not a catamaran as we’d been told, but a small boat with a noisy engine and limited seating. We suspected something was wrong when a mile or two into the trip, we started going round in circles. We then moored up opposite an ugly rocky beach, and some steps were produced so people could climb onto the side of the boat and jump into the sea. We were really confused… this definitely wasn’t Papagayo. We sat there for a couple of hours whilst food was cooked and a few people swam in the sea, feeling increasingly sea sick. We didn’t eat lunch as we have allergies and don’t take risks on buffets. Eventually, I asked one of the crew when would we go to see the beaches, only to be told we weren’t going as it wasn’t possible. No explanation as to why not, but had I known this we would not have got on the boat in the first place. Sitting on the rocky boat, feeling sicker and sicker, began to feel like torture. My kids said it was the worst experience of their lives and couldn’t wait to get off. After an eternity the boat began moving again and drive the 2 miles back to harbour, during which time one of the crew came round to take our payments. And this is why I’ve given this review 3 stars and not 1: when I explained that I was really unhappy with our experience, he explained that the boat had experienced a mechanical problem after setting off and that they had tried to make the best of it for everyone. I said we had come to see the beaches, and not for the free bar or the water activities. As a result, we were not asked to pay. Our experience was awful, but I very much appreciated the professionalism of the crew and how it was resolved.

Thank you for sharing your experience. However, it seems there might be some confusion as the activity you described is not provided by our company. We apologize for any inconvenience and encourage you to reach out to the appropriate supplier to address your concerns. For future reference, we do offer a similar activity where we anchor at Papagayo as usual, and our catamaran ensures a smooth sailing experience without any mechanical problems.

After having toured all the hotels in the area (count 1h) the bus will take you to Puerto del Carmen finally take this catamaran, you will be a hundred on board. Choose a good seat because after you can no longer move being give the numbers of people on board.
Tasteless meal (paella or shellfish in tomato sauce) 3 drink choices.
It will stop about 1h30 for the bravest who want to go to sea kayaking with the strong current or “swimming” in the open sea. And off we go for the return. And count 1 hour on the bus to drop off at all hotels
This is how to get plucked from 74€ ....

Ropes off 11, back in post 3 so four hours with only 1 hour swim at Papagayo for the same price as ropes off 10 and back in port for 5.30pm for the La Graciosa cruise! Not good value here for Papagayo. Could not go beach as they hadn’t paid park fee. Sea had a massive current so not safe for swimming much although buoyancy jackets could be used.

The price is the same as the La Graciosa cruise except this one is on a much smaller boat, the staff are moody, the toilets horrendous and everything a little run down. The front nets had been replaced but old broken ones left hanging under. The ladies toilet wasn’t cleaned the whole day and there was an overflowing toilet tissue bin with bloody towels on the floor.

We made our own way to the harbour as local but no staff to meet us and the coach loads were directed straight to catamaran so queue jumped us and others. When I informed staff there was no one to welcome they shrugged!

The food ok, drinks ok, but the Graciosa one is far better value. The catamaran we were on (I Love Papagayo) was very rub down and in need of repair in loos and on decks with broken bits. The crew couldn’t work the sail properly either, rolled it out, got confused how to lock it off and then rolled it back. Music extremely loud everywhere too which other parents with kids commented on.

I would recommend giving this a miss and spending same money on the La Graciosa cruise they run as much better value, better crew and better vessel. Papagayo trip more worth £30 max!

      Avoid!

Thank you for your feedback. The itinerary of the excursión is detailed in the description of the product and it is specified that it lasts from 11.00 till 15:00. The activity´s description it is specified that there is no possibility to get off the beach. We did not go at the beach because we did not pay the fee as you mentioned , but it is because the Papagayo beaches is the protect zone, and it is prohibited to enter there from the sea side … not only for our boats but for any boats that travel with groups. We specify that during the anchoring in Papagayo our clients have possibility to swim from the boat, snorkelling and discover the coastline with kayak. The catamarán was renovated this summer and it is a quite large boat with capacity for 147 person. Our staff during the excursión are cleaning the toilets constantly, as frequent as they can. Our guides or staff are eager to hear all the comments ( for example about load music ) during the excursión , as we can fix it quickly ( in that case silence the music). We are happy to know that you had a good time in our other excursión in catamarán to Graciosa , and we hope to see you soon again!

We booked this through travelOn. We paid 139 euros for two people. The boat sets off from peorto del Carmen, which is approximately 1 hour drive from plays blanca. We had to go to another hotel to be picked up. About 10 min walk. We stayed at Sandos Atlantic gardens. The day was quite windy and the sea was very choppy but the boat set off. The waves were very high and it was recommended to us that we sit inside. It was about 1 hour to a small cove where the boat anchored and said we could have a swim. The kayaks were not available because of the high wind and sea. Only a few people went for a swim as it was far too cold and very rough. This trip should have been cancelled because of this. The food was half cooked paella which was very strong tasting of sea food. The veggie option was pasta with a very light sauce. And a piece of bread. Drinks were free but if you don't drink then it's not worth it. No tea or coffee available neither for such a cold day. A punch had been made and people were drinking that. Over all a rubbish trip and not worth the money. Because of the high waves and rough sea approx 6 out of the 30 or so people were sea sick on the way back.
Couldn't wait to get back to the harbour. Waste of money

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the weather conditions and the overall experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that there were no weather alerts indicating unsafe conditions for the excursion, and while the Atlantic Ocean can indeed be colder and rougher in the winter months, this is typical for the season. We always aim to ensure safety and comfort, and we understand that colder temperatures and choppy seas can make the experience less enjoyable for some. We also want to mention that the full itinerary and what is included in the excursion, such as the food options, drinks, and activities, are available on all booking platforms before confirming a reservation. This is to ensure our guests know what to expect. We also understand that boat excursions in the winter might not be ideal for everyone, especially if the weather is colder or rougher than anticipated. Your comments regarding the food and drink options will be taken into consideration as we strive to improve our offerings. We truly regret that you did not have the enjoyable experience we aim to provide, and we appreciate your honest feedback.

the reason for a 3 star is because there was WAYYYY too many people on the boat I understand you are trying to make a profit but there was literally no seats for the unlucky people at the back of the queue getting on. the boat trip all in all for one stop was very long would’ve been better to stop at a few places along the edge of the island before heading back. in my opinion would be better to have less people on the boat and charge little more for tickets then charge for drinks too, that way it’s actually a comfy trip where you are able to move around the boat. the food and drinks were good though. loved the pasta!! thank you for the experience.

It's actually a drinking tour for adults. Too much free alcohol, at first I thought the relaxed atmosphere was funny. But it became more and more unpleasant to watch the people with their increasing alcohol levels.

We were unlucky with a lot of wind and current and so relaxed swimming/snorkeling/paddling was not possible. The boat was also very far from the beach - it could have been anywhere. So not recommended for families. Afterwards we went to Papagayo in a rental car - much better!

Great idea. Tour guides are great. Just give out less for free...! And 100 people for such a small boat with one toilet each and so many drinks. Not nice either.

The Paella - simply wonderful! Staff and crew were a delight - really enjoyable!
Coach pick up was seamless. Set sail on time - about an hour sailing then anchor down for about 2 hours of eating/swimming before setting sail back to harbour. Drinks available throughtout the duration.

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
