About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- mikul_b20190 contributionsGrand Tour - Worth every pennyWe booked a Grand Tour to see the island in 1 day. Our guide was very friendly and communicative, she spoke multiple languages, so we could always ask what we needed. She always paid attention and tried to make everybody happy. Extra 12€ for a buffet was worth it. Even as a vegetarian I was able to choose quite nicely. The tour was worth the money and time. The schedule is a bit tight, but I had enough time to enjoy all parts of the island. Guide did an amazing job, given that some members of the group needed to be handled like kids. When she says do no take pictures on the stairs, just don't do that. That said, I have an incredible amount of pictures, when it was ok to take them. Our driver, Sari was totally badass and had amazing chemistry with our guide making it very pleasant to be around them. She handled narrow roads and bad drivers with confidence and made us feel very safe. There was one problem, that they warned us about well in advance, that we still underestimated. Pick up locations are mostly in South so if you are in Famara without a car, it is close to impossible to get there as taxis we called do no operate in the area and buses were too late. We were lucky and hitchhiked. Best regards, TIGIDÍWritten 12 January 2025

- ros05380 contributionsGreat way to see the island in a dayClean comfortable coach, great knowledgeable guide. Good way to visit all the top sights on the island. Only one place couldn't do due to steep narrow uneven steps down into cave tunnel as I have limited mobility. The other cave Jaimes de Aqua also had steps but much easier - really pleased as it was magnificent, not to be missed. Volcano national park is stunning, also not to be missed. Our coach driver expertly navigated the narrow winding single track road through the various lava flows, Volcano peaks and round the craters. Thoroughly enjoyed our dayWritten 19 December 2024

- 222urszulac0 contributionsOutstanding and all round brilliantFirst of all I would like to comment on communication with the company - it was outstanding. I originally booked a whole island tour on getyourguide but had presence of mind to ask about joining it from a cruise ship. Immediately I was informed that it was not suitable and a different arrangement can be made for us. I had messages from the company a day before, updates in real time on the day. The tour itself was amazing value for money. Cruise ship passengers take notice - it cost one third for four times more than a cruise ship excursion. We have done only one part but have seen massive number of things. We were picked up and dropped off at the port. Fantastic guide, brilliant driver, entrance fees included in the price. I would not hesitate to book through them again.Written 5 December 2024
- 81philippag0 contributionsGreat itinerary but tour overbookedGreat itinerary booked through getyourguide. The tour had 80+ people which we thought was far too much. Alot of queuing for facilities as most places only had 2 toilets. Couldn't really hear alot of the information or see demonstration due to volume of people. Definitely would not have booked if we had realised it was such a large group. The journey back a bit of a shambles as the guide took a group back to playa blanca and the driver didn't speak English so was very chaotic...Written 3 December 2024

Great tour for anyone wanting to see the best attractions in lanzarote, be cautious if you have claustrophobia as the entry to the first cave is quite small. The tour guide was amazing and even slipped in some extra spots. Really good variety and value for money. Lunch stop is €10 extra but you can take your own, definitely recommend the Paella if you eat at the restaurant! Would also recommend taking a jacket or jumper as can get veryyyy windy :)

Overall the trip was good, Especially the caves and the lava tour guide in the bus. Andria was a great tour guide who picked us up on time and we had a very skilled driver who made us feel safe at all times. The meal also was very nice and worth the extra €10.
I would say as a recommendation: remove the camel ride and exchange the time at the end when visiting the green lagoon. We could have easily spent 1 hour there, however only had 20 minutes and I feel this was the best part of the tour.
I would also recommend to reduce the amount of commentary on the bus, as this was distracting and over the top at times and did not allow for us to fully appreciate the scenery in silence.
Thank you for a good experience.

My partner and I were picked up near-enough from our hotel at 8:30 onto a fantastic coach packed full of friendly travellers like ourselves. The sights we saw throughout the day were incredible, we were able to skip past all of the large queues and our tour guide was informative through each destination and also on the coach. She was friendly and approachable and spoke great English. We stopped for lunch at a restaurant out in the National Park and were able to have a buffet for only 10€ each which was great value for money. There were many photo-worthy places and we weren’t rushed at each spot. We got back to our hotel at around 5:20pm and couldn’t believe the value for money for the whole day. It really made our holiday and we learnt so much about the island.
Highly recommend the full day tour!

Hello, I loved this tour, everything a lot, but above all for me, a matter of taste, the jameos del agua which is a place of story and fantasy.
Although it seemed very early to me at 8am, I later understood that this is how we got to the cave first, when we left there were already horrible queues and another thing is that when you go on something scheduled and not on your own, you enter directly with the guide who does everything for you. you without waiting in lines to buy tickets.
In Timanfaya the same, the cars stand in queues and the bus passes without waiting. Furthermore, without programming you cannot take a tour of the volcanoes, which is by vehicle and not on foot.
You stop at 12 to eat in a place that overlooks the valley of palm trees and for 10e you eat deliciously, especially chicken in sauce. If you want you can take your food with you, but it's not worth it.
In addition to the green cave, jameos del agua, viewpoint area to see Graciosa Island (it is not an official viewpoint and you see it from the side because there is a construction that prevents you but fine), you see a palm grove, it goes along the vineyard road and stops at a winery try wine, stop by camels if you want (I don't like this business and don't get into it), then spectacular Timanfaya, you see a peasant monument passing by and at the end the Green Lake on the cliff...they pick you up near your hotel and return you and So much Nazareth that tells you everything as a magnificent driver, what more could you ask for!
In case you have any limitations, you have to go up and down stairs in caves and jameos, but not much.

Booking this trip was the best decision we made when planning our holiday in Lanzarote. Lanzaroteguides provided us with so much information in advance and even sent photos to help us find our pickup point. The guide was incredibly informative and friendly. All of the locations we visited were well picked and the individual entry prices we would have otherwise paid showed us the excellent price of this trip in terms of value for money. The tour enabled us to see so many parts of the island and we would definitely recommend to anyone who goes to Lanzarote. Also, for those wondering about the optional buffet at the restaurant the tour stops at, there was a very good range of food. We are both vegetarian and for vegetarians (and also vegans) there is good choice.

We chose the Lanzarote full day island tour. The tour guide and coach driver were absolutely amazing. The tour guide was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited. The information and booking process was perfect. We received detailed information before the date of the tour via WhatsApp and we were lucky to be picked up and dropped off at the hotel. We stopped at all of the important places of interest and were given ample time to explore the sights, buy souvenirs, use the toilets and take photos. The coach was comfortable and the driver excellent at navigating the hairpin bends through the mountains. The lunch stop was a bit early at 12pm but that was unavoidable. The menu was excellent value at €12, including a buffet lunch, water, wine and ice cream. The paella and mojo rojo was lovely. The highlights for me were the camel ride into the Timanfanya volcanic mountains and the entire Timanfanya National Park section of the tour, unforgettable! I highly recommend this tour to anyone staying in Lanzarote for any length of time. We went direct to the company, which was the cheapest option and included entrance to all the sites of interest. 5 star rating.

We took a taxi and our taxi waited for us - we were charged an additional €15 an hour. The traffic queues up the mountain were horrendously busy but as we were a local taxi we were allowed to bypass the queues of cars and go straight to the top… worth paying/ taking the taxi. Beware though, some taxis will not wait then you can get stuck at the top. There are no taxis ranks up there and no phone to call a cab, the restaurant didn’t even know any numbers for a cab so don’t get stuck there. You then get on a coach and taken around the park right up to the top of the volcano- takes about 80 minutes - definitely a trip worth doing. There is also a restaurant and loos so you can make a day of it.

This Tour was the highlight of our trip to the Island.. without a doubt. Yes, a very early start but worth every second. If you get Andrea as your tour guide you have hit the jackpot. Her knowledge was very comprehensive and very well timed and delivered. We started our tour at the Green Caves which go roughly 150 meters underground (mind your head) and the whole history and explanation of their origin were explained in great detail... no spoilers ;) Then we went up to the viewpoint in the clouds, the breeze was welcome. further on to a winery.. the best I have ever had where the methods of the winemaking was interesting. Then you see the Timanfaya National Park with a restaurant above a magma chamber.. with some live experiments.. great for kids. Later there is an option for a Camel ride or a museum then further on to the green lagoon. There is so much to learn and see on this trip, It was like being on Mars. The added bonus is you get to queue jump, the green caves for example open at 10 am (we were there a bit earlier), and when we came out the queue was backed up the road! There are lunch and toilet stops along the route. The bus was nice and cool, The driver started the aircon ten minutes before we got back on at each stop and his driving skills he has are superb, you will see why when you get to the Volcanoes and Lava fields. You get dropped off at your pick-up point which you will be informed of on booking, usually not too far from your hotel. This trip is definitely recommended. It's a history lesson. A day trip back in time (no more spoilers)

We had a good laugh reading your comment! Thank you for not revealing the important spoilers, such as the "secret" of the Cueva de los Verdes. A sercret that only those of us who have entered know and that before leaving we promise not to reveal hahaha!
Thank you very much for choosing us to get to know the unique Lanzarote and for your recommendation.

It was a very interesting excursion. You visit spectacular places on the island, unique in the world. Everything was controlled and very well organized. From the day before the tour, until the end of it, the information was excellent. Our guide, Nazaret, as well as the bus driver made the time completely optimized, without having to wait in line at any of the places we visited, something very grateful and extraordinary, taking into account that it was the first Saturday of the month of August with a considerable influx of public. Nazaret was constantly giving us explanations of the places, advice about our stay on the island, and endearing signs of affection; He did not give the order to leave any place without having counted his "herd" several times... The green cave is amazing, it is like a trip to the center of the earth, it is the visit that requires better physical fitness and the one with the highest energy expenditure, but since they had everything under control, it was the first place we visited, and the rest seemed quite light in terms of physical effort. The meal was a bit early, according to our customs, at twelve noon, but as we had left early, around eight in the morning and we had not been able to have a good breakfast, the truth is that we ate it hungry and the place where they usually Doing so is fine in terms of quality/price. I could go on much more, but I don't want to spoil it for future visitors...

The lava tunnels and the caves were cool and interesting. Just avoid the lunch stop and the camel ride. Regardless if it's repeated that the camels are looked after etc etc it's animal abuse using them as a tourist attraction. They were clearly restless and did not want to be there tied to the next camel by the mouth and the handlers threatened to hit them in the face if they tried to stand up or move. The restaurant stop for lunch was not good at all, we were herded in like cattle and barked at to sit at particular tables (the restaurant was empty) with other people from the tour so you cannot sit with only who are with on the tour. It was very uncomfortable and it didn't make sense that we were made to sit with other people from the tour but then we had to wear masks on the coach?? Tour guide was very informative though and mostly the tour was good

Thank you for your helpful feedback.
We are glad that you liked what was included in the tour.
The two things you mention as negative were not included in the tour and were optional:
The camel ride: It is not included in the price of our excursion, because we respect both those who like to take a ride on camels and those who do not like it (we understand that no personal opinion is better, nor is it above that of others).
We give the option to do the ride because as you could see 99% of the participants of the excursion think differently than you and want to do the camel ride (this does not mean that one opinion is better than the other, just that this is the way the majority thinks).
Food: It is not included in our tour, it is simply where the guide and driver eat. At this stop we give free time.
Most clients choose to eat there because it is a buffet with drinks included and costs 10€. (For that price we understand that it is a basic meal, better for many than a sandwich and a soft drink which is already worth that price).
Other customers decide to go for a walk, while others have a simple coffee or sandwich in the village.

im not sure of the regulations but from personal experience i would say that i dont feel it would be suitable for you as the actual ride is very bumpy and the backrests are metal and very uncomfortable when the camel is walking. As a mum of three i would recommend this for you however the actual trip itself is a great day out and some of the participants on my coach just watched rather than ride the camals. i hope this helps
