The whole experience from beginning to end was amazing. Communication regarding timing and pickup was excellent. The team were extremely knowledgeable and professional and we saw many pilot whales. What a delight! There was plenty of delicious food and drink (thank you for all the Cava!) with a few unexpected little treats at the end. We were then dropped off at our hotel which made the excursion so easy and pleasurable. I would definitely take swimming gear next time (just in case) as the water did look very inviting! We had the pleasure of joining the Monte Cristo Catamaran Sunset Trip, and it exceeded all expectations! From start to finish, the experience was incredible. The crew was outstanding—warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about ensuring everyone had an unforgettable time. A special shout out to Laura who was absolutely lovely and shared lots of great information & facts. The boat itself was spacious and comfortable, offering stunning views of the ocean and coastline. One of the absolute highlights was spotting 2 pods of pilot whales & how close we were able to get to them. A surreal experience that left us in awe. We even saw flying fish darting out of the waves. Throughout the trip, we were treated to delicious tapas, beautifully prepared and perfect for snacking as we sipped on endless glasses of cava. The cava flowed freely, adding to the already relaxing atmosphere. We felt truly spoiled by the views and the experience. It’s hard to imagine a better way to spend an evening at sea. If you’re looking for a luxurious, laid-back adventure with great hosts, wildlife, and amazing food and drink, this trip is an absolute must!

It was fantastic great crew and food .seen Pilot whales and dolphins along with a mum and baby dolphin . Drinks were flowing as much as you like. Make sure you take swimwear and towel as these are not provided. You will get wet if sat up front but that can be fun . A great experience all round take some cash to tip crew for fantastic job they do xxx

Really good trip. Got to see many Pilot Whales. Food was pretty good, and if something ran out the host got more ready. They did offer to let people swim, and had a box of snorkel equipment if anyone needed it. Nobody swam, but we would have been more tempted if we knew ahead of time it was an option.

The most amazing experience ever. A lovely evening, helped by flat calm sea. Couldn’t believe how close we got to the whales. A family of pilot whales were basking in the evening sun and a young pilot whale actually swam to the front of the catamaran literally three feet away. The crew were very attentive and there was plenty of food and drink for everyone. Lovely sunset and then a stop off near the shore for a swim. Slow cruise back to harbour with a full moon shining over the island and the bright lights of Las Americas reflecting on the water. You must do this cruise. Big thank you to the crew and minibus drivers. 5*++++

This was an absolutely lovely trip! Laura gave us so much information about the pilot whales that we saw and all the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone.

Fantastic trip! Well organized, friendly crew and we actually saw dolphins ánd wales. There also was time for snorkeling and some nice tapas.

A great afternoon out! We saw pilot whales both solo and in a pod, the weather was perfect, the crew were all friendly and full of smiles. We learned about pilot whales from one of the crew. And it was a nice plus to have snacks and drinks plus time to swim.

There are so many boat trips available in Tenerife, it can be tricky to decide. After checking trip advisor, we decided the Monte Cristo catamaran was the best option and we weren’t disappointed. We didn’t want to be on a crowded boat so the fact they limit the numbers was perfect. As a result, the boat is a bit smaller so if it’s remotely rough sea, I would definitely recommend travel sickness tablets! That said, the waves added to the experience. Transfer from the hotel was included in the price and with six of us, this was a bonus. It arrived on time and the driver was excellent helping everyone into the minivan. Also included on the trip was food and drink. All the staff on the boat were friendly and more than happy to help. What made the trip was when we spotted the Pilot whales, around 10 all at once! I would highly recommended this if this is something you are looking at doing. All in all, it was well worth the money and we would definitely do this again.

Great family trip to see the Pilot Whales!! Staff were friendly, informed and caring. Happy and smiley staff, knowledgeable regarding the whales, which was interesting. We even saw a couple of Sea Turtles. Particularly caring towards my son when he was feeling a little sea sick. They took great care and attention to ensure he was OK. Catamaran is clean and spacious. Trip left and came back within the timescales given. Food was ample and fresh. Unlimited drinks, including beer and wine. Again staff were every attentive with drinks for us all. Great little stop off to swim and snorkel. Snorkel gear provided by staff. I would like to say we would book again as a family, but the sea sickness has put a spanner in the works on that! Highly recommended for those with sea legs.

Just finished our trip with Monte Cristo, and the reviews were right: fantastic trip, amazing crew (Laura&co), lovely swim in the sea and of course amazing to see the pilot whales up close - and far more of them than we had dared to hope. Windy day and quite a lot of waves, so a few got seasick. I was so happy I had read the reviews and taken a seasickness pill before we left! Practical tips: you'll be asked to take off your shoes (slippery when wet), (small) toilet on board, try to get seats in the middle of the front deck seats if you easily get seasick!

What a wonderful experience! The crew were absolutely lovely people that couldn’t do enough for us, the catamaran is a lovely and comfortable vessel and, most importantly of all, the tour has some truly stunning views. At the beginning of the trip we went out to view the whales and turtles at a close distance (but still far enough to prevent disturbing them). The crew then dropped the anchor and there was the opportunity to swim and enjoy a selection of snacks. Free drinks were plentiful throughout the entire trip, too. Lastly, we took in the gorgeous sunset which was truly breathtaking to behold. The Monte Cristo crew deserve a full five stars (and more) as does the experience itself. I highly recommend it!

Chose this company to celebrate my daughters 14th birthday, we chose the sunset trip and also did some pilot whale spotting, which was absolutely amazing, the crew on and off the boat were absolutely awesome, they went out of their way to help us celebrate my daughters birthday by buying a huge cake and singing happy birthday to her, we were overwhelmed with how amazing everyone was, one of the best boat trips we have done and will definitely be back and recommending to everyone, Thank you very much

Crew very friendly. Was able to see some pilot whales which was amazing, they got up close but was mindful not to disturb the whales. very knowledgeable and spoke the information in both English and Spanish. Unfortunately my daughter did feel sea sick about half way through and they gave us advice on what could help like eating some bread sticks that they had on board. Drinks available when you wanted. You do need to take your shoes off, So if on the top of the boat ensure you put sun cream on your feet otherwise they will get sun burnt which we learnt the hard way.
