The tour was excellent. The guide “Enrique” was very knowledgeable and friendly. Recommend bringing own ear buds. Tour was a little over 3 hours.

    Beautiful, Approachable Trail
We went on this hike with another family (kids aged 15-22). Nothing too crazy. Definitely doable for everyone. A bit more than just a simple, flat trail. There was climbing over branch limbs, rocks, etc. There were also some muddy parts. But we saw a bunch of older and younger people that seemed to be fine with it all. The trail isn't totally marked well. We were a bit unsure whether we were on the correct trail or not. And others asked as we passed them on the way back as well. I did use my trail app to help. We didn't do any other hikes in the Sierra Nevada! We wished we had time. I would definitely recommend. Beautiful!

    Awesome tour
Awesome tour and great value for money. Our driver/guide was great, informative and entertaining. Despite it being a small group tour, it felt like a personalized experience, and we had plenty of free time in each location. The day was longer than expected (9.5 hours) but we didn't mind in the slightest as it was so much fun. Highly recommend this tour.

    Great Tour
The tour met our expectations 100%. Everything worked as described when we booked this tour through Getyourguide. On time with a very good guide (an Italian but who clearly is in love with Spain!). The special guide for the Mosque was also good and helpful. It was my third time in Cordoba (first time for my Chinese friends) and again I felt charmed. A great daytour from Sevilla in all respects.

Breathtaking city, mosque and history - but not as personalised as the price suggests
Cordoba and the Mosque were just breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Carlos, our driver from Granada to Cordoba was friendly and kind. I thought that we would be having a tour of the mosque with Carlos in our small group, but we were instead joined up with another, much larger, tour group at the mosque. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. I do, however, think the price of this visit was too high, as it was only the transport that was catered for us. The actual mosque tour was with another guide and we only had 1.5 hours of free time to explore Cordoba after the mosque tour, which we did on our own, rather than as a tour with Carlos.

    Pleasant visit to Granada
The mini bus picked us up on time. The guide in Granada was knowledgeable and the tour was interesting. You don’t have a lot of free time, but more than some tours.

Skip the lines with guided tours is the most efficient way to maximize the Alhambra visit!
This was a great tour - the guide was very knowledgeable and engaging at a good pace to allow time to linger in some areas of more interest. It also seemed that the organized tour groups had priority getting through lines at each area, making the tour very streamlined and less stressful. I’m sure an audio guide would be fine but the experience of having a guide to ask questions is invaluable.

    Spectacular and very recommended
Highly recommended. Our driver and guide Gonzalo was excellent and took us to see some unique gems. We specially loved the visit with one of the town’s resident who invited us to see his ancient home. The landscape and the towns were spectacular.

    Alpujara did not disappoint
Not a comfortable minivan as promised to transport us. Though the taxi was comfortable for us English. The guide was meant to be multilingual but even the Mexicans with us found the Spanish difficult to understand English was poor too. Apart from that the tour was fantastic, we enjoyed all the sites that we visited. The roads were so well maintained even on the mountains that the ride was very comfortable. The white villages were fantastic and the ham factory, the olives and almond trees were great, the carpet weaving was great to see.

    Pampaneira y Alpujarra villages
Unique insight into the pueblos blancos of the Alpujarra. Our guide Carlos was a font of knowledge on the history, geology and culture of the region and maintained good humour throughout. Carlos is also an excellent and patient driver on the steep, winding roads. There was a good mix of coordinated group activity and time for independent exploring of the pueblos

Beautiful city with a great tour guide!
We did the half day private walking tour of Ronda with Tania. It was fantastic!! Beautiful city with all sorts of history and Tania provided all the important information on Ronda. Loved the views, the bull fighting arena, the bridges (new and old) and more. Could have asked for more on this tour.

Excellent tour of a beautiful part of Spain.
This was a wonderful day trip to a very beautiful part of southern Spain. Our driver and tour guide Gonzalo had a very deep knowledge of the ancient and modern history of the Alpujarras and the communities that live there. The villages and the beautiful white stone dwellings, cobbled pavements along with breath taking views of the mountains was something to behold and treasure. The tour guide Gonzalo was charming, friendly, totally professional and had a great sense of humour. I couldn't recommend this trip strongly enough.

Perfect tour for Alhambra and surroundings
My visit to the Alhambra was absolutely fantastic. The tour agent managed everything with great care, even calling us 20 minutes before the tour to help us find the meeting point. The equipment provided worked perfectly. What stood out the most was our guide, a historian professor, who was incredibly detailed. He focused on the most important aspects within the available time and answered every question we had. Considering the number of sites to explore, the time constraints, and the security measures required to enter each building, the experience was well worth the cost. Excellent value for money! WARNING: Please bring your passport or ID card (they will remind you of this beforehand) as you could face issues with the strict security measures. This isn’t the tour agent’s fault, but it might delay the group visit or even result in you being left behind. My daughter forgot her ID, but the staff managed to make an exception, which we greatly appreciated, though it could have gone wrong.

    Great day out at Geopark
Had a great day out at the Geopark with our lovely guide Carlos. There were only 5 of us on the trip 2 Welsh and 3 Spanish and Carlos patiently translated everything for us. We were able to visit sites that would be missed had we not been with a guide and learned at lot on the day. We had spectacular views over the valleys and enjoyed Guadix with its quirky houses in the caves. Great day out

Wow! This tour exceeded our expectations. We were a small group of 4. Jose was our driver to and from Granada, and he was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and drove safely. At Caminito del Rey, a gorgeous area, their tour was very well organized into groups of 15-18 adults and kids. Our official guide, Javi, was educational, warm and friendly— and all safety protocols were superb. We are in our early 70’s and the tour was fast paced with about 6-7km of walking, and all very do-able. Loved our tour!

We had a wonderful experience going on a hike to "Caminito del Rey" with Rafa. We booked a small group day trip on Getyourguide for this hike with Discovering Spain. When the day came, it was just the two of us who reserved it for that day. Even though it was just our party, discovering Spain went ahead with the tour and gave us a large van with a personal guide, Rafa. It was really nice of them to keep it going and be professional about it. It was almost a private trip for us and we couldn't ask for a better guide. We had a short hike to the trailhead with our guide and once we reached the trailhead, we were given the tickets and were on our way with the official guide of the place. Even though it was insanely hot, we still enjoyed the hike with gorgeous views. The excitement of walking halfway up a mountain was incredible! We were back in Seville by 5 pm and I couldn't have asked for a better birthday!

Amazing scenery with breathtaking views and an engaging guide. More info required however about the start (ticket and time entry) and end (see later). Groups too big or radio too poor as sound regularly dropped out or crackled. No mention at all of the long walk at the end which was uphill in the heat still carrying helmets plus no mention of where to pick up the bus to get back to start point. Had to pay for bus back which again wasn’t mentioned.

This was a fantastic experience and not to be missed. We booked through Hotel Garganta (friends we’re staying at the hotel) and luckily for us had the best guide ever - entertaining and informative - Claudio. The walkway was amazing and completely breathtaking in places. Claudio, our guide had just the right balance of humour and information - we didn’t need earphones like other groups and yet all information was conveyed clearly and nearly always in shady areas. The whole experience was very well organised and an unforgettable day out.

The parking sign was incorrect.
We lost a lot of time figuring out where to park.
So we arrived late.
We therefore did not have a guide since we arrived late, as we were told.
I hope you are stuffing yourself with our money, for our part, your service is non-existent. We will not advise you to anyone except the devil.

Be aware that there is 1.5km walk to the entrance, in total the walk is about 8km long accordingly to Strava. Good facilities at the end of the walk. Toilets are available at the beginning. We were advised to arrive an hour earlier however we couldn't enter before the time so were stood waiting. Stunning views along the walk would do it again.

Thank you for sharing your experience on the Caminito del Rey! We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the stunning views and would do it again. We appreciate that you highlighted the information about the 1.5km walk to the entrance and the total length of the route, which according to your measurement with Strava was approximately 8km. This information is very useful for other travellers planning their visit. It is also important to remember that there are facilities at the end of the route and toilets at the beginning, as you point out. We take note of your comment about arrival, we always recommend arriving 40 minutes early as many clients find it difficult to get to the meeting point and also the Caminito del Rey staff have to organise the groups according to the allocated time. We are pleased to hear that, despite the wait, you enjoyed the views and that the overall experience was positive. We hope to see you again on the Caminito del Rey or on one of our other tours.
