It is very convenient and good with the transport between these 2 locations. We enjoyed seeing things around and buying gifts but the time is very limited. Especially going to casino is just only about 35mins. If want a longer shopping time, not advisable to sign up this. The HK tour guide is friendly and nice..thanks Toby

Easy and fairly inexpensive transit from HK to Macau
The only glitch here is that I had to follow up with Viator to get the actual vouchers. We took the ferry from China Ferry Terminal in Kowloon (Tsim Tsa Tsui) which is an eight minute Uber ride from our hotel (Hotel Icon). From there, take the elevator up to the Arrival Hall where Turbojet is. We left our hotel at 8:10 am for the 9 am HK to Macau (outer terminal). Taxis are cheap in Macau and it's easy to get to the old town that way. Ask the driver to leave you off near the fortress on "top" of the old town. They take HK dollars in Macau and taxis don't take credit cards. There are ATMs dispensing HK and Macau dollars. Hint, get the HK dollars as Macau dollars fo not work in HK, but HK dollars do work in both Macau and HK. We walked up the fortress and then back down, to the remaining facade of St Paul, to Na Tcha temple and down the beautiful streets through Senado Square. We had lunch near Senado Square and then grabbed a taxi to the Venetian, walked across the street to City of Dreams before catching the great 5 pm cirque style show there (Houses of Dancing Water). We had dinner at City of Dreams and caught the 9:30 pm ferry back to Kowloon. We took an Uber and were back in our hotel by 11 pm. It's a great way to spend a day as a side trip if you are spending more than 3 days in HK. This is a good way to buy ferry tickets.

A fabulous excursion, particularly the cable car ride, which was unique. The giant Buddha was a great experience - impressive. The visit to the fishing village could have been dropped.

Great half day tour of HK
Well organised, we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel and managed to squeeze a lot in the six hour trip. We had a small group of six with a very experienced tour guide (Rex) who provided a lot of history and background to the sites we visited. The cable car was excellent, recommend upgrading to the crystal cabin car for the spectacular views. Was a hot day so recommend taking a good hat and walking shoes/water.

Great night at the races
Booked a package through Greyline Tours when in HK in early June. We had been to Sha Tin on the Sunday on the train and "roughed it", so this time we went to Happy Valley night racing with the tour on Wednesday. We were picked up from our hotel and greeted by our friendly tour host, then picked up a few other Australian tourists and were at HV in no time. At HV we were also greeted by a hostess from the Hong Kong Racing Club, who along with our tour host, looked after us all night. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic, the drinks were non stop, betting protocol was explained and the view from the 5th floor was sensational. After race 4 the hostess took us down to the mounting yard where we got up close and personal with the jockeys and horses. Back up to our section for more food and drink then dropped off at our hotel. The whole night was fantastic and paid for with a race 5 trifecta win. Highly recommended.

Great excursion
We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Our tour guide was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. The tramway ride to the Big Buddha is breathtaking with wonderful photo opportunities. We paid for the glass bottomed car and it was worth it! The fishing village boat ride was a highlight. How wonderful to go out on the South China Sea.

Great Option if You’re Doing Dinner on Macau
When I knew I would be visiting Hong Kong, I knew I had to take the ferry to Macau. Because I didn’t want to figure out the logistics myself, I decided to book a tour. I already had dinner reservations at a Michelin Star restaurant for 6:30pm, so I needed a tour that would allow me to take the late ferry back to Kowloon after dinner. This tour fit the bill. This tour is actually through Grayline and they picked me up at my hotel in Kowloon. Those of us staying in Kowloon were then driven to the Hong Kong Island ferry terminal to meet the group from that side and take the ferry to Macau. Once in Macau, we met Henrietta our guide. She was great and gave us the history of the places we saw and we had time to both sightsee and shop in the different areas we visited. Those of us who had chosen the late ferry departure were given instructions on the time we needed to be at the ferry terminal for our return trip back. I’m so glad I chose this tour as it took all of the guess work out of visiting Macau. The late ferry option was great and allowed me time to see more of Macau on my own once the tour ended.
