We went on this tour with roatan five star and was very good. Our tour guide Daniel was very knowledgeable and informative. We went to a small animal park where we could hold a sloth and also a macaw then we went into a cage where the monkeys would jump on your shoulder so we could take many pictures. It was just me and my wife on this tour which is so much better than going on a crowded bus with a lot of people. Then we went to try some rum and rum cake at a factor and after we went to a chocolate factory to have some freshly made chocolate. During this tour we stopped at many spots along the way to take some pictures of the beautiful landscapes and ocean views, and also drove thru some small towns to see how the locals live. Along the way Daniel explained the history and many interesting facts about roatan. Definitely worth going on this tour with roatan five star, and also Daniel made sure we got back to the cruise ship in plenty of time.

One of the best experiences I have had on an excursion. We cruise at least twice a year and have had our fair share of bad experiences. However, this one didn't disappoint. Our guide George was amazing and the service at the beach was great. We did it all ride the horses, swam with the pigs, and the sloths and monkeys were the cherry on top. Will definitely be doing this again.

I found Roatan Five Star on YouTube while looking for excursions to do with my family. I loved the one review I saw and they did not disappoint. Our guide Simon was AMAZING! He was very informative, patient and kept us laughing. From the sloth & monkey tour to the chocolate and rum tours, everything was enjoyable. I will definitely recommend this to everyone and it’s suitable for all ages. My family group all found the tour interesting and the shuttle with AC was perfect for the day’s adventure.

I'm not sure if I chose the correct excursion, but we went to 3 different snorkeling spots which included a ship wreck, then to an animal sanctuary where we held the sloths, saw the monkeys, and the beautiful Macaws. We had a private guide by the name of Shonda. She was absolutely awesome, knowledgeable, and informative. She even stopped at a grocery store so we could get some soft drinks to bring back on the cruise ship. On the way to the boat that took us snorkeling, she pointed out many different trees...almond trees, cashew trees, guava trees, and many more. She told us the history of the islands, their religion, and even touched on the politics of the country. Captain Willy and his crew were incredible! I'm not a good swimmer, so one of his crew had a life preserver with ropes around it. He glided me across the water while I was able to snorkel and even dove down to bring up some beautiful huge starfish and conchs. He would check on me, periodically, to make sure I was ok. They served us watermelon, juices, and the most delicious banana bread I have ever eaten. There was only the 3 of us and 1 other family on the excursion. We were on a Carnival ship, and no excursion they offered had so much to do for more money than Roatan 5 Stars. Don't let Carnival put the fear into you by telling you that only they make sure that they have you back on the ship before it departs. That is ridiculous! We never book excursions through the cruiseline. We look for reputable tour companies where you get way more bang for your buck. These companies make their living off of tourism, and want you to return, so they make sure you get back to the ship on time. We paid $100, each for this excursion, It exceeded our expectations. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. We hope to go back to Mahogany Bay one day, where we will do this same excursion, again. Kudos to Roatan 5 Stars for an incredible time that we will never forget! We have been on several excursions on multiple cruises. This, by far, was the best excursion we have ever taken, hands down! Thank you to Shonda, Captain Willy, and his crew for everything they did to make our time in Roatan the most memorable time, ever. We love you! ❤️

We had a great time on our tour! The island is amazing. Our guide was the best… very professional, on time and friendly. I would absolutely recommend and will book more tours anytime we are in Roatan.

Henri was our driver and he is always courteous and have a smile on his face. He made us (kids especially) feels welcomed and safe. Would definitely recommend him and his tour company. Went to sloth zoo + 3 snorkel. Would go back in a heart beat.

Blake was the best guide! He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He made sure we were well taken care of. He answered all of our questions and helped us find good places to shop. He even took us to a local stop to try iguana, a Honduran delicacy! It was the best day of our vacation!

Amazing experience. Our guide Simon was great. We arrived soon after a storm and he had already options for us. The sloth adventure was breathtaking. Food was really good.

If you are looking for an excellent, responsible professional, knowledgeable tour company this is your best choice. I called several times before my cruise to check different options and prices and they always nicely answered my questions and gave me all the options available. On my arrival Neil was waiting for us patiently on the designated spot and happily welcome us to Roatan, he took us to AJ’s (Daniel Johnson Sloths & Monkeys) and then to the transfer point to Little French Key. On the way back, we agreed to meet a certain time and he was there waiting for us. Neil was very nice, informative and well knowledge, he answered all our questions and went above and beyond to please us. We are very happy and grateful with Neil and Roatan Fivestars for the service and the great experience. Definitely we will book with them again on our next visit.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROATAN FIVE STARS!!. I had seen great reviews and I booked a trip last minute for my adult children who were cruising by themselves. There was a tropical storm so I had some reservations. I texted the company after hours and they immediately answered my questions and fixed a mistake (my mistake) within minutes. The kids (adults) had the most perfect time even though it wasnt great weather due to a tropical storm. They even had them back to the ship in time to shop off the port. THANK YOU ROATAN FIVE STARS for taking such good care of my family and making their trip PERFECT!!!

Our day with Gio was amazing. Such an incredible young man that loves to share his story and talk about his home. The sloths and monkeys were amazing along with all the guides. Gio drove us to a local restaurant for lunch, explored the island by van on our way to a small chocolate shop. The best part was hearing his experiences and how the locals live. If you want your teens to appreciate what they have,and gain some insight on the rest of the world I highly recommend asking for Gio.

It was a birthday vacation for my husband and I and we had an amazing experience. Neil was our tour guide and he was great. Neil took us to a beautiful beach resort where he spent the day with us and once ready to leave, he took us to a Rum factory where we tasted the Rum and Rum cake made there. Next we went to a chocolate factory where a guy named “Willy Wonka” gave us a brief history on the cocoa and how the different chocolate flavors come about in Honduras. In the few hours the Mardi Gras was there, we learned so much about the history of Roatán, Honduras. We are definitely going back and again will hope to be able to make contact with the same company who serviced our vacation this past week of September 2024.

This was the BEST excursion we did on our entire cruise. It was my husband two children (7-9) and myself. We have NEVER snorkeled before and my children are not strong swimmers yet. We had the best time and my kids really enjoyed it and had little trouble snorkeling. Our guides were great and kept everyone safe. The only thing that could have been better was if they gave a crash course to snorkeling or teach us what to do prior to jumping in the water. They never asked if we had done it before and we never advised so it was just as much our fault as theirs. No complaints and will 100 percent do it again!!!!
