Our guide with Fantastic Ride, Miguel, was knowledgeable, friendly and fun to be with. Our tour of Sintra with him, and the ride to Cascais, was a highlight of our time in Lisbon.. Highly recommend!

Philipe gave us an informing tour. Was flexible and allowed us input to spend as much or as little time at the various stops.

Margarida gave us a wonderful tour of Sintra and Pena Palace. She was very hospitable and knowledgeable and took great photos of us along the way.

Rainy day but views very beautiful- George was very knowledgeable and guided us to a great lunch. The Algarve is a full of great beaches, incredible cliffs and rock formations.

We signed up for a this tour in order to see all 3 locations (Sintra Village, Moorish Castle and Pena Palace" in 4-5 hours. No way! Completely MISLEADING. We were rushed in the village, stood in line for 40 minutes before getting into the Palace (despite having an reserved entry time, had no time to see the Palace gardens and MISSED the castle completely.

Best tour I've ever been on! This trip was well worth the money and HIGHLY recommend for any out of town visitor. Margarita felt like a family member, she was kind funny, smart and helped my family and me have the best experience. This is a 5 star tour around Lisboa that we will cherish forever and never forget. Thank you to this company and to the TOP ALL STAR - Margarita! (I's ask for her by name if I knew in advance how fabulous she was.)

George did a great job getting us to and around Sintra. He added so much color to the trip with his historical facts during the ride and his commentary about Portugal and their people. Loved his passion!! It was wonderful to have a local who could give us the real feel of Portugal. Sintra is a cute town (busy) and we had time to try their famous pastry Queijada. The Pena Palace is very beautiful inside but be warned..VERY crowded (you move through like an assembly line) and in getting there, please note that traffic is a nightmare. Be sure to get to the palace gates (where you pick up the 10 min bus to the Palace) AT LEAST 45min before your ticket timestamp. We barely made for our noon timestamp even with great planning. Overall, a much easier way to see Sintra with the private driver…worth it!

We had a series of 3 transfers (Lisbon to Lagos, Lagos to Porto with a stop in Obidos, and Porto to Lisbon with a stop in Nazare)! Jorge was our driver/guide and is very friendly and helpful and provided great restaurant recommendations. We had fun on the transfers and were able to relax knowing that we were in good hands!

My daughter and I did the half-day private Sintra tour from Lisbon. Pretty sure Felipe was our guide/driver and, yes he looks exactly like Gerard Butler. He was lovely, very engaging and eager to share his wealth of knowledge about the sites we were about to visit. First up was the Moorish Castle. We practically had the place to ourselves. Next up was the Aladdin like Pena Palace. I bought entrance tickets and transportation tickets for the little bus that takes you up the big hill to gate beforehand. This place was more crowded so, if you don't want to wait on lines to buy entrance ticket(s), buy them online beforehand. You could spend alot of time here if you want to see the gardens (we didn't). After that, we went to the charming town of Sintra..Felipe dropped us off for a bit so we could walk around, sample the yummy pastries, and eat lunch. Last was a visit to Quinta da Regaleira - a Dracula like, slightly foreboding castle that is the home of the famous Initiation Well. This was my favorite. Walking down that circular well, getting darker as you descend. Fabulous. Do it. The day was overcast so that really added to the whole experience. We were picked up at our hotel around 9am and dropped back off around 3:30. We had a great day!

We had an excellent time on our tours! Felipe was our guide and he was friendly and informative. We saw so many wonderful places in a very short time, thanks to his careful planning.

If you want 0 anxiety, comfortable, informative and pleasurable tour, then look no further. Fantastic Tour is an excellent choice. We were lucky to have Felipe (Gerald Butler look-alike) as our guide. He was attentive to our needs and made the tour hassle-free. Further, he was an amusing raconteur. Felipe, thanks from the 5 tourists from Winnipeg and Toronto, Canada.

The perfect way to see Sintra and the surrounding area. Carlos was flexible and helpful with the bookings and Felipe was the ideal tour guide.

While the views were beautiful and the area wonderful I would not recommend the company Tripadvisor used for this tour. The tour guide was nearly impossible to get any straight answers out of on where we were going, what time we were expected back in Lisbon, etc. the tour was scheduled for 9 hours and it ended up taking 12 1/2 hours. We got back so late the restaurants were all closed in Lisbon and no one ate dinner. The trip also included a boat ride which we didn’t pay for until we arrived in the Algarve and the only choice the tour guide gave us was with a company he was obviously enjoying some extra compensation with for requiring us to use him. The boat ride company agent was a fast talking smart aleck who shouldn’t be associated with TripAdvisor. We have traveled for years and often use tour companies. Never again with TripAdvisor. Good luck if you decide to use this company.
