A wonderful site full of historic interest. Very well maintained and relatively quiet which was great for taking photos.

The design takes full advantage of the sloping site, with a sequence of fountains and channels framed by the hedges set on three terraces among trees. The contrast of architectural formality and the inherently informal- water and trees-express the spirit of Renaissance garden with the...More

Villa Lante is a beautiful garden area with two villas, many carvings and statues, and multiple fountains/water features. A ticket costs 5 euro and gets you access to the whole garden and both villas. The villas are small- only consisting of one room each- but...More

Fantastic garden with impressive water features. Really worth a visit and the 5 euro entrance fee! Easy parking nearby, and close to a sleepy village where you can get some lunch or refreshments.

This Garden and Villa are very picturesque with lots of wonderful statues and fountains. There is also a large park next to it if you wish to have even a bigger hike. Do take cash, as I hear that is the only form of payment...More

Unique place full of history. Only few visitors during the early afternoon in April. Part of the park was closed due the repairs, but most was accessible. Have quite a lot of stairs, so not really possible to access by strollers or wheel chair.

Took a small group of teenage girls for a daytrip outside Rome. We stopped at Villa Lante and enjoyed the gardens. Unfortunately the fountains were not going (early in season) but enjoyed anyways.

Beautiful Italian gardens that are not overrun with tourists. Some areas look cool when they are not restored and others would improve greatly with some restoration. Don't walk through the garden maze, the grounds keeper will yell at you. I can't remember the price but...More

Sometimes you can find a spot outside the church. However before you get to the center on the right is a car park. I believe you will need to pay for a spot. I was lucky and found a free street spot, but a bit of a walk.
