there is a lot of american stores, great walk, with variety of Mexican articles, including clothes, souvenirs, drinks. there were police along the 5th avenue keeping it safe

If you’re on the Rivera Maya leave the all inclusive compound and venture out to 5th Ave need I say more. The shopping the restaurants the people the beach a block over. The quaint boutique hotels Casa Freud and Luna Media are my 2 favorites....More

I would recommend walking down 5th! There are plenty of local vendors, as well as a nice shopping mall. Great restaurants all up and down the street. The only negative I have would be the pushy vendors.

Yes you can get menthol ciggies there many different varieties the cost are ranging from the equivalent of £1.75 to £3 depending what you buy..... try the American brands for a spearmint flavour..
