What a wonderful day journey this was. Took a colectivo from our resort into Tulum than we grabbed a taxi to the Laguna. The water was absolutely beautiful, easy to get to, there was a man there selling fresh coconuts. Locals go and have picnics...More

Is better to visit Kaan Luum before 1pm, If you go after it will be a lot of people, cheap price and there is a cenote in the middle. :)

We had a good afternoon at this lagoon. The water is beautiful and crystal clear. It was a nice change in scenery. It’s about a 15 minute drive from Tulum. Lots of parking and a gorgeous platform to sit on and enjoy the views. It...More

This very large lagoon has a vast expanse of murky water in which you may bath. It is warm and many families go there for the day and bring a picnic.

Only some kilometers away from Tulum lies this impressive laguon with a giant underwater cenote, right in the middle. There is a parking just outside. Leave your belongings in the car so that you get in the lagoon with just your towel (there is almost...More

The Lagoon of Kaaba Luum is a very beautiful and magic place. If you are looking for a place to relax, far away from the crazy life of playa Del Carmen, this is the place to go!

This Laguna is great if you’ve given up on the sea weed covered beaches of Tulum. Great temperature, shallow and accessible. Not like other cenotes which are more interesting for snorkeling and exploring. Two jetty areas and a rather grubby covered seating area. Clearly popular...More

The water was so clear and blue. The water is shallow and nice to bathe in. There are little/no facilities here so ensure you take everything you need. There is a shaded area where you can sit which is good. Would recommend to arrive early...More

There are no taxis in the place. The best way to get there is to rent a car, or ask a taxi to leave you and pick up and set the previous time. Remember that the place closes at 5 and you will have to. Walk up the road to get... More

Its a little more then 5 km south of Tulum. You can see it on Google Earth. It is on the left hand side. There is a hand painted sign that says Kaan Luum Lagoon. Then there is a dirt road some 2 or 3 km and a booth where you... More
