This Church has an amazing interior that is not to be missed. Be sure to go to the front and turn to your left. WOW! I thought I was in Spain. I think the heavy gilding is soo impressive and beautiful. Don't miss visiting here.

Templo de Santo Domingo is located bit north of zócalo but it’s worth the detour for its Capilla del Rosario. The elaborate gold decoration definitely sets it apart from the dozen other churches.

When you remember that Puebla was originally Mexico's capital, it makes sense that they would have this impressive church. Outside is architecturally grand, but you must see the inside, which is quite ornate. I enjoy the solitude I always experience in these places. You will...More

By itself this is a stunningly beautiful church with gold leaf altars of carved wood. Nice statuary. This is where the unbelievable Capilla del Rosario is located on the front left in a separate wing, making this church an absolute MUST visit location

Really surprising place, the Capilla del Rosario is amazing, and to hear the story behind it makes you feel grateful. The temple itself is to admire, take a seat and look at all the angles and small chapels around it, but the Capilla is the...More
