I found this cathedral a wonderful combination of gothic tradition and contemporary liturgical space. The nave is exactly as gothic would have it, while the chancel/sanctuary area has been re imagined to meet today's needs. In so many places, it looks like a compromise, but not...More

This cathedral is well worth a visit whilst in Victoria. It is in immaculate condition and very impressive. The unusual raised Bethlehem Chapel is a real feature of the cathedral.

A marvelous place for reflection. We came when the organist was at the organ which added to the reverent and welcoming atmosphere. The stained glass windows were magnificent. I appreciated the information provided to assist us on our self-guided tour. A must see. Highly recommend.

I agree that it is better to enjoy the church by viewing it without looking across the way yet the inside has not changed. While the tent city seems abhorrent, it is a statement of how the wealth of a nation is in the hands... More

There is no cost for admission and you can donate if you wish. It is heated and is open I think from around 0830 to 1800 at night so most of the day(may need to check times for closing).

There is no admission rate. There are tours of the bell tower...really worthwhile. You can just wander in and around the cathedral any day....I am not sure of the exact hours, sorry.
