The Prometheus caves are a No Big Deal, it was a 1 hour boring walk through the cave without information or instruction about the place. The guide who led us through the cave just walked us around and did not fill us in with any...More

This attraction will be more popular but it needs improvement in management if bigger crowds are anticipated . The boat ride is not good value.

The cave itself is beautiful and the guide explains in detail (probably, we never heard much), in three languages (English, Georgian, Russian), but much of the experience is ruined by them admitting large groups of 50 to 100 people – When the guide spoke in...More

A long walk in the cave. Maybe half an hour. They tried to keep it as Natural as they could but still, you see man-made walkway. Must take a boat ride at the end of the cave.

It was absolutely beautiful! Loved every part of this cave and the boat ride. The tour was kinda useless for me as I was all the way in the back and enjoying the quite. Preferred it that way!

A tourist trap. Firstly, the price is raised to 23 GEL, while before (according to several blogs and websites), it was 7 GEL. Second, you are forced to go with a large group of +- 40 people, having to wait for everyone etc. The tour...More

An interesting place, especially because it is pretty long - the walk through the cave on a more or less leisurely pace took around half an hour, maybe more (if you stop to take picture a lot). The first part of the cave was less...More

Visited with my husband. We were so glad we desired to go there. The cave was really impressive about 1,5 kilometers long. We also bought tickets for boat trip. Despite it was short, every cent was worth it!!! So, we absolutely recommend it!

Prometheus Cave itself is wonderful, there is a specific path to walk on and it takes an hour at least to finish it. Unfortunately, you have to be in a group which is set to go into the cave every hour. There is a guide...More

Best to call before going. It should be opened as the road getting there is well paved and there is a boardwalk through the cave.

As i know , there are no limits for children any age. The cave is save and it is not a dangerous one. The only thing is to take care of the child not to go outside the pedestrian area.
