Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As you head into the center city of Bristol from the train station, it’s worth watching the map and heading over to Queen Square.

It’s a pretty square that is surrounded by classic, gorgeous Georgian architecture.

There are some benches, etc.; it’s a nice place to relax for a bit and take in the scenery or read a book.

Worth your time!

Really lovely little square. Nice for sunbathing, relaxing and having a picnic. No facilities though so might be a problem for some.

A fine square in the centre of Bristol, surrounded by some fine Georgian architecture. The centerpiece of the square is an equestrian statue of William of Orange and William II & III of the United Kingdom. The area is affluent and charming, but I wouldn't go out of the way to see it if you have limited time.

Large square with grass, benches and big trees around the side. That’s it.

Okay to sit and eat your lunch. Seems to attract gormless “edgy” cool young people, so obviously loses a couple of stars for that.

Lovely grassed square surrounded by fabulous architecture which is an ideal place to take a rest in. People working out, playing vollyball, having a picnic or just sitting and enjoying the area.

Basic park with grass and bench seating. Quite a popular cut through used by pedestrians, bikes and electric scooter.
We visited twice on our day visit and sat for around 10 mins as it was a nice area to have a break.

It’s only small but it’s a very English & a very genteel kind of a place where you could imagine stepping back in time & watch the wealthy Bristolians taking the air.
The surrounding architecture is lovely & it was a cool haven during on the warm September day that we passed through.

Rectangular Georgian Square next to the historic center of Bristol. Good place to rest or even have lunch if you are around.

Pretty little park in the middle of the old city with a monument of William III in the middle. Just passed by on my way to the old city. Very good location if you wish to park nearby.
