Seen for the first time and was surprise how nice and clean it is. Plenty of shops and places to eat around the square. In Summer a lot of people can be seen walking and taking photos

We really enjoyed this city. We caught the train from Freiburg. Trains were excellent and the station was in the city centre. The Cathedral was amazing and the walk up to the base of the spire was well worth it. Petite France was lovely to...More

Didn't spend long here but cathedral was stunning. We had an enjoyable canal boat trip which was worth taking.

Lots of tourists, lots of activities going on - but it still felt great! I think it's because of the way the city is laid out, the crowd and tourist groups move through the areas smoothly - they don't really linger, so it's not stifling...More

Wandering around the core of Strasbourg's old town presents many interesting subjects for the photographer. There were side streets and plazas, each ever changing. For that reason, travel lightly. My gear: DSLR with a zoom lens. This has flexibility without having to carry a big...More

Lovely old cobblestone area. Main attraction is the Cathedral but lots of shops and cafes. Very touristy and most expensive closest to the cathedral so cross a short bridge to get off the island and stroll! Learn the history of the tanner’s district before you...More
