Yes...you want to see these, but do not come here just to see this pair of objects. Combine the experience with a visit to the Glanum and Monastery Saint-Paul de Mausole

A well-preserved mausoleum and arch dating back to 40 BCE built by the Romans. A mark of the Roman civilization that reached much of Europe.

Standing a bit lost next to the road these monuments are impressive. Still standing proud after 2000 years!

Beautiful arches. These were the first things we saw on our visit of Glanum. We had a guide to explain the art.

As you approach Saint Rémy coming from Les Baux you meet a few monuments from the Roman time : an arc de Triumph and a mausoleum You could stop and think of the influence of the Roman Empire over old France

This site is worth a stop if you are in the area or probably better combined with a visit to the Roman site at Glanum just across the road.

This should be put on everyone's list of things to do when in the area. We drove 1 1/2 hours to visit and were happy that we did. Many things to visit.

Right on the road out of Saint Remy, Les Antiques is an interesting, if minor, example of Roman ruins in the South of France. Parking adjacent to the ruins makes it an easy visit. Not crowded (at least not in the late afternoon).
