The visit to this authentic replica of a historic windmill was meant simply to see it, and hopefully get a view from its upper deck. What transpired after we paid the 5 Euro fee was a special tour indeed. If you aren't up to climbing...More

As it was a rainy day we decided to visit this lovely windmill museum in Haarlem. We had a very interesting tour and learned a lot about windmill construction, operation and history. Well worth the €5.00 entry fee.

This was a very informative tour of the reconstructed Molen de Adriaan windmill. Our guide was very knowledgeable about not only the inner workings of the windmill, but about Haarlem’s history going back hundreds of years. Well worth the €5 price.

The docent who was our guide was very informative and spoke excellent English. The view from the top alone was worth the price of admission.

Fully restored windmill in Haarlem with great history. Built in 1778 and fully restored in 2002. Great tour guide with working models of windmills all over holland. Don’t do the touristy Zaanse visits, this one ten times better and more personal. Same price of E5...More
