The college itself is now part of the university and there is little to see apart from the main courtyard. The main attraction is the church which is next door (see separate listing).

One of the many buildings worth visiting in Funchal. From the putside, the building has a very characteristic facade, and inside you find a lot of beautiful artwork. Don't miss it!

Just wow, there was a service on when we arrived and the church was packed. We waited until it finished and wandered inside, it is stunning, so ornate, the gold, the paintings, statues, carvings, the craftsmanship was outstanding so beautiful.

I'm sorry, I've no idea, but it might be worth contacting the students' association of Madeira University, as they provide English and Portuguese language guides and are knowledgable, good luck!
