This would be considered the main square of the old town and includes the Old Town hall and Roland fountain. There were street works going on when we were there so it probably wasn’t looking it’s best.

A modest Town Hall square (Hlavne Namestie) that feels too small for a national capital, but this is the centerpiece of Old World Bratislava. Cute little kiosks, with old-time cityscape engravings of their roofs, sell local handicrafts and knick-knacks. Virtually every building around this square...More

The imagination can run wild standing in the city centre square surrounded by beautiful medieval architecture and wonder how it survived.

The "Main Square" is one of the best known squares within Bratislava and is located in the Old Town and center of the city. The square received its most recent name during the communist period (1948–1989).

It was really nice walking around the Main Square with all the old buildings surrounding you, with stores, restaurants and ice cream parlor! Worth the walk!

Interesting square with shops and cafes plus souvenir carts. Only offputting thing the small white tourist train parked in it! The old town hall building with the internal courtyard was impressive.

Yes For sometime it is worth to sit and enjoy the view from the apartment, especially when you are tired to go out in the crowded streets.
