The view is better than the Monastery itself. It is a very nice walk towards the temple and if you are in the neighborhood you should pay a visit but don't take a detour to get there.

There is so much to learn about Buddhism and a great deal to see in this lovely Monastery, Well worth a visit and take at least 2 hours.

This can be the main part of a wonderful day trip from UB. The nature is beautiful in this area, but the main attraction must be the hugely interesting rock carvings and Monastery complex. Highly recommended, take the time to explore fully.
