This tower looks like nothing during the day, but by itself, brings this city to life! The lights go flashing all up and down the tower. It's quite a pretty spectacle!

Thanks to a review at Tripadvisor I was prepared for the procedure how to get the ticket (40,000 Soms for foreigners) and go through the security check, anyway, it provides jobs for several persons. In lieu of a passport my ID card was readibly accepted....More

You can go at the top - but only during the day. So you can't make any photos during the night and this is the biggest disadvantage. TV tower is opened till 6 pm - completely pointless idea.

They open at 10am, and we were one of the first people here. The location has lockers for your bags, as you can't take them up. The lockers are large enough for a good sized backpack. After buying your ticket - do bring your passport...More

Being built in eighties it is the tallest building in Central Asia. It’s got three legs standing on independent concrete pillows, which was done to minimize the affects of the regular earthquakes in Tashkent. A view from the restaurant on the tower is brilliant. Try...More
