Get up close with the Giraffes
Visited this educational center with friends while we were staying at Giraffe Manor. Got a great kick out of picky giraffes as they spit out the green food pellets in favor of the white-ish colored ones. Who knew!

    Hungry Giraffes
I came here as part of a Nairobi day trip. When you come in you wash your hands then are given food for the giraffes. You stand on a raised walkway so that you are even with them and they eat the food right out of your hands. Some are more aggressive than others. The workers will tell you the giraffes' names, which ones to watch out for head-butting from, and how old they are. You can pet them while you feed them, but don't approach them without food; they will be annoyed. I saw warthogs walking along the ground in the enclosure too. This place also has clean bathrooms. I very much enjoyed my time here and would love to return. One tip is not to go right at noon. That's when the nearby elephant orphanage lets out and this place gets mobbed. When I went a few hours later, it was still a bit busy but not crowded and there were enough giraffes for everyone to feed at the same time.

    One not to miss
We visited here as part of a package deal with the elephant orphanage that we had booked online. What a phenomenal experience! You actually got to hand feed giraffes, and the photos we managed to get were brilliant! The giraffes are so well cared for, the establishment does amazing work.

    Eye opening
Wonderful place that does amazing work. We learned an a lot about the giraffe in Kenya. Feeding and taking pictures with them was fun as well. Maurice was quite informative and passionate about teaching us of the near extinction of the giraffe population in Kenya and their efforts to try and increase the once vast population of giraffe. It’s worth a visit if you have a spare hour while visiting Nairobi.

    Nice
Nice place to visit and support, we visited by Uber from Nairobi and had no problem getting an Uber when we’re finished, queues were short, did not book in advance but that is possible online. You get to feed the giraffes which is a nice experience, there is also a gift shop, cafe and toilets. Visit will not take much time. There are souvenir stalls outside the gate and a wilderness walk across the road, signposting isn’t great but you can get into the jungle, nothing much to see though.

    Amazing! So much fun🦒
Giraffes are my favorite animal in this area so to feed them was a lifetime experience. Just like feeding my puppies but only bigger. 🐶 To be able to interact with them was amazing and something I’ll never forget if you love giraffes like I do ♥️ you definitely want to check this out. The Experience doesn’t take long, and it’s totally worth it.

Interesting place to learn about Rothschild giraffes and their future
We visited this place on our half day tour of Nairobi. It was an interesting place to visit, hand feeding the giraffes, learning about their near extinction and their rescue back. This was a very well presented place, with knowledgeable guides, exhibitors and the giraffes themselves. A must not miss whilst in Nairobi.

Can be very crowded but great giraffe interactions
As you visit this facility, you are provided a small bowl of food to feed the giraffes. They usually have around 10 Rothschild giraffes in the facility either as permanent residents or temporarily until they can be reintroduced to the wild. There is a long elevated boardwalk where the giraffes can walk up and be fed by the visitors. It is quite fun to interact with the giraffes, but can be extremely crowded at times when you are trying to get a picture.

    Small park, Big giraffes!
This is a small park, so easy to navigate. They is one 30 minute video talking about how they are conserving the species of Giraffe, then one long landing to share space with others to feed the giraffes treats. Instructions are easily labeled, and there were plenty of hand washing stations. There was an information center that showed more of the history of the center itself, but I feel like it could have more information on giraffes in general. They have a very nice gift shop! We were in and out in about an hour.

    Memorable Experience
My kids and I had a fantastic time feeding the giraffes and learning more about wildlife conservation. Being in such close proximity to a giraffe allowed us to truly admire its stunning patterns, creating a beautiful and memorable experience for us. The guides were both knowledgeable and skilled in assisting us with photography and videography, making this an enjoyable and educational adventure.

Not sure if a crowd, feeding giraffes from a platform, is the most suitable way to promote wildlife conservation. Beautiful to see the giraffes so close but I didn't feel confortable with all the people talking loudly, taking selfies, fighting to get the "first position" to feed the giraffes, a tiktoker streaming "the experience"... After returning from the natural parks, I was shocked.

Excellent guides explaining the life and different varieties of giraffes before seeing them. Hand feeding included, which was fun.
It’s a tranquil setting and the visit is relaxing. As with many tourist attractions, the price was very reasonable.

The big thing here is walking on the boardwalks and admiring and feeding giraffes, from babies to adults. There is a bit of information and a gift shop. We were a group of adults and we got a kick out of it, but I am sure children would be even more excited. It is worth about 30-45 minutes.

I doubt I have anything unique to say, but this was an excellent experience. I imagine there are times when it could get very crowded, so you may need to have a little patience as everyone wants to feed the giraffe, and when I was there, only one or two would come up to eat at a time. They are really gentle, though they will try to get the rest of the food if you aren't careful. This was fun, and an awesome opportunity to see the Rothschild giraffe.

This is a nice place to visit and see (and feed) the giraffes. With the admission fee, you get a small coconut bowl of pellets that you feed to the giraffes. They eat out of your hands. It should be around an hour or so visit.

Such a busy and enjoyable place. Wash your hands before and afterward at their wash stations. You got half a bowl of giraffe feed as part of your admission which is more than plenty. Despite seeing multiple giraffes only 2 were accepting our food pellets so you had to make your way through the crowd to reach them which can be challenging. Ticklish against your fingers as you are to feed them one pellet at a time else they they may choke. They non-stop would lick their tongue to grab food from you. So cool.
