Puntuk Setumbu is a place to enjoy the sunrise with a very nice natural scenery, but you have to try hard to get to this place because you have to climb rather high to get here

This viewpoint is easily found, driving your motorbike from the 'centre'. We stayed at Amrta (a great place) where the staff is extremely helpful to organise your trip.

We booked a tour that included being picked up at 3:45 am to watch the sunrise at this spot before heading to Borabodur Temple. The view was nice enough but it seriously was not worth getting up that early to see. The temple was barely...More

First check list on my itinerary, to see and watch the sunrise, best view of the Borobubur temple from distance, though was rainy season and misty all morning... hardly to see the sunrise at all. but it was the best experienced!
