It is a more modern and touristy version of Chorsu Market in Tashkent. The market is brimming with dry fruit, bread, fruits, sweetmeats etc. The shopkeepers compete with each other to attract customers.

I did not get impressed, but then I was not interested in shopping. It has a portico at the entrance but otherwise it is just a plain open market.

Unlike some other bazaars in the world, this one is really neat and well taken care of. The products are nicely displayed and you can get some really nice photos. It is worth the detour.
