- Nour HishamCairo, Egypt25 contributionsGorgeous garden for freeThe botanical garden was such a great place to visit at Kuala Lumpur .It is for free so no tickets are needed to enter unlike bird and eco parks ! I enjoyed the great green landscapes together with the beautiful lake ❤️the garden was so peaceful and well equipped to practice sports and cycling in the morning. I also enjoyed seeing many trees from different types with barcodes on them explaining their rare types ! There was a mini open bus there charging little money to give u a nice tour around the park if you ever felt tired to walk it all by yourself. Such a wonderful park to feast ur eye on 🪴Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 29 April 2023
- wireless_in_CAUnited States4,994 contributionsQuick Cart RideIt was pretty warm the day we visited but we stumbled upon an electric cart option of touring the park. It was only 15MYR per person and we circled most of the park with various stops along the way at the playground, the lake and one of the gardens. It was a little bumpy but gave us a decent overview of the different areas of the park but allowed us to save a lot of time and reduced our sweating quite a bit. Having just visited the National Botanical Garden in Singapore that one set the bar quite high but overall this was a good place to visit popular with many locals.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 11 October 2023
- Rob RByford, Australia130 contributionsLovely place to escape the hustle and bustle and see lifeHad a walk around the gardens on my way back to sentral station and the airport. It is a beautiful garden in the hustle and bustle of the city. If I was staying in town I likely would have been one of the many jogging around the expansive, well manicured and eye catching gardens, I saw a young football team being put through their paces around the park and up and down the steps, school graduants taking their photos and actors working in the park, so great to see the varied use of this fantastic space.Visited October 2023Travelled soloWritten 19 October 2023

We spent the morning here and whilst it was lovely all paths were very slippy and I fell ( as did many others )
They should of been closed off as someone could of broken something
That said the park is stunning

Beautiful Gardens; very well set out and maintained.
The different areas, eg Indian, Egyptian and Japanese, are well kept with beautiful flowers and features.
The gardens are logically arranged and it's easy to see everything.

Should just be called a park. It was a shame seeing trimmed grass and no natural wild flowers. A bee would not call it home.. which makes calling it a botanical garden a stretch.
Should be renamed to park for clarity.

hi, we would like to celebrate birthday at the garden with minor decorations. Do we need to ask permission from the authority?...its just 6 of us.

If it is only 6 of you, you do not need to get the permission of the authority of the Botanical Garden. We have done our own family birthday parties with balloons and picnic food.
Just like every open Garden, make sure you clean out all the trash.
Hope you will have a great birthday celebration.
Thank You,
Laila Johari
