- BMESingapore, Singapore224 contributionsGreat Experience - Great Service!Brought my mom & wifey to visit Royal Selangor and was very impressed with the personalized tour by the young lady & boy (can't remember their name). They were very accommodative and patiently answer our questions. At the end of the tour, I decided to buy one of the beautiful products and the staff especially Dayang & Cristal were also very friendly. They also happily did a gift wrapping when I told them I'm buying a gift for my mom. I find it a very nice gesture and I truly appreciate such efforts. Well done Team Royal Selangor. You made our day!Visited March 2023Travelled with familyWritten 19 March 2023

- Meng_zAdelaide, Australia5 contributionsHistorical place to learn about Pewter industry in MalaysiaWe visited Royal Selangor Visitor centre without booking in advance. The staff were polite and welcoming, and was available to give us a guided tour within 5 minutes. The young tour guide, Poh, was very professional and knowledgeable. The whole place was elegantly presented, products in the show room have a huge variety, and the pecan cake in the Cafe was delicious. It’s definitely a place worth visiting!Visited May 2023Travelled with familyWritten 23 May 2023

- Vaishali LimayePune, India167 contributionsDon't miss their display galleryYou will be welcomed here with a welcome drink followed by a walk around the factory. Dont miss the Pewter beer mug at the entrance...huge and heavy ! The walk around the display gallery was beautiful, each artefact made of pewter including dinner sets, wine glass set, several portraits, marvel miniatures and so on. They have a small and cozy cafe inside - you can rest before you head out for your tours. Overall an amazing experience.Visited May 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 July 2023

We thoroughly enjoyed making a personalised pewter bowl with Affika in the workshop, and also loved our very interesting and speedy tour from Poh - he taught us about the company history, the significance of the pewter industry in Malaysia, and we got to view live demonstrations on the factory floor of some different products being made by very skilled craftspeople. Love the experience from coming to the front desk asking politely which language we prefer, from there is an amazing guide name Sammy that guide us thru from history of selangor pewter to how delicate, dedication and amazing craftsmanship they have.
And of course the Finale would be the gallery of their product for us to have a look, and maybe buy some back home.
In Total experience it was a Amazing Experience for me and my family. Thank you Royal Selangor and of course our guide sammy

Yes there are 2 activity rooms one you make your own bowl from a flat sheet. Harder than it looks and it is quite reasonably priced. You keep the apron as well. The other workshop make more delicate items.
