For Us is the best beach in buzios, because it’s is a wide beach, not so many people , quiet water and you can do some water sports there (paddle surf, kayaking etc)
Price are okey for the chairs and umbrella , mostly like all...More
There was only one place to eat. When we arrived they told us it would be free to seat if we consume at the bar, but as we ordered only drinks they charged us extra R$40 for 40 min we were seat in their chair....More
Great out of the way beach no big waves get there early as it packs up with families.
If you buy food you get a chair and umbrella for free and the food is worth it. We had the fish that must have been caught...More
If you travel with kids and elderly people, Ferradurinha is the place for you!
Very calm waters and somewhat warmer that the other beaches near by.
Try to find accomodations at the left side of Geriba Beach because by doing so, you will be near...More
Fantastic stay at these beaches in Buzios. The small city of Buzios was once Brigitte Bardot's paradise. The location is a trendy one in Rio. Not sure about safety considering the crisis in the state in this 2018.
You can take a small side street from Geriba to get to this small beach. You reach it only walking. Since it's so small, there aren't any bars or people selling drinks and stuff. There's a small place half a block from the beach, on...More
This beach is really small so it gets crowded fast. The water is calm and good for the kids. There are a lot of water activities, such as SUP and Kaiak. The food is very expensive, around R$ 120,00 for a plate to 2. The...More
The best beach to see turtles.
It has normal temperature water but clear crystal color water.
It has no waves so it’s easily to snorkel on it and you can rent STUP or kayak to get a little bit inside.

It´s possible to see them only if you do stand up or kaiak and go more advanced in the little bay (on the sea), but it´s not all the time that you will see them.

HI ! Feradura surrounds a cove as it is the word for horseshoe in Portuguese and depending on where are you are staying it is very simple. If you are in downtown Buzios you can take a taxi or walk. Thinking on it if you are in downtown, is it about a 1/2 hour walk past a local police station, should you feel misplaced, you will travel on a dirt road and at some point you will need to bear off to the left it will carry you to the main entrance of a sweet little beach where you can walk the length of most of the cove ! It is very easy to find and most everyone will be helpful !! It's a nice slow walk with no hills....SHOULD you come to a hill you have gone too far !! Are you not heading to Tarturga Beach ? OR Turtle Beach >? This is spectacular, it is more of a walk in to the beach...........BUT it is glorious and the stones on the beach side are SO VERY beautiful !!! You can take a bus from downtown Buzios>>> heading towards Geriba and ask the driver to let you off at the entrance to >>Tarturga Beach. You will need to walk up a good grade and once you hit the top it rambles slowly down and on until you reach the beach and it will take away your breath:) My husband and I will be in Buzios on May and I look forward to seeing more beaches ! I hope you get to see the turtles ! You will certainly enjoy looking ! Downtown is lovely, the Rua de Pedras really pretty, the terrain is rough with all cobbles so wear shoes that give you comfort !!! If you are not a speaker of Portuguese I would work on it a bit as no one really speaks English and it can make life hard some days :) Happy Travels !!!!!
