I actually thought Paraty was more magical than Venice. Stay for a few days and make sure you’re in the old town. Historical, picturesque and filled with beauty at every turn. Totally recommended.

Not even the rain could dull the beauty of this historic town. Paraty, Rio de Janeiro. Paraty is a preserved Portuguese colonial (1500–1822) and Brazillan imperial (1822–1889) municipality with a population of about 36,000.

All the colorful houses are worth a picture, so bring enough batteries to take all the pictures you can! A little advise: wear shoes (no flip flops)!
