Beautiful bridge, beautiful drive. Early morning and late evening are best time to visit and take photos. Though stopping on the bridge is illegal but as usual I saw many ignoring the law.

To get better view travel by train. you will enjoy the sea view on both sides, the train will move very slow on the bridge.

One of the Engineering marvel in India, though build by British nicely maintained. Good to watch train going on the bridge, you can see lot of Picoks around. great view from road bridge.

Its a must see and stop place. The bridge offers a brilliant view. u can stop for some pics. its usually very very windy . any one traveling to Rameshwaram by road, will anyway cross this bridge. The railway bridge is even closer to water....More

You must visit this place if you are in Rameswaram...enroute to the temple town. It has breath taking view during sunset with the train passing through the train line..

this is one of the beautiful bridge i ever seen. You van see fisherman boats on both side of bridge. garuda's flying in line with bridge...beautiful landscape, beautiful sky. water colour is owsome

Yes. Every train which has destination Rameshwaram have to pass through the pamban bridge.Pamban bridge is only way to connect railway network from rest of India to Rameshwaram railway station.

I drove over. There are boats which can take you up & down for sure. that's a good idea to cross by boat, will try next time thanks .

You travel over Pamban bridge you have to go beyond Madurai. Instead you can take a train from Chennai egmore to Rameswaram . In the evening around 5PM there are two trains to Rameswasram from egmore
