It is a large monolith. A big rock sticking out of the ground. It was easy to access but the parking was a problem. The town of Bernal was interesting, colorful and packed.

From queretaro, some friends took us there. Charming village with an amazing monolith rock dominating the landscape. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shop for a small place like this. Beautiful church and magic in the air.

We came ready to climb the lower (not professional) part of the monolith. It was all rock with almost no shade, and we weren't used to the altitude, but our efforts were completely worth it! The path was easy to follow, and it had many...More

My husband and I arranged a private tour to Bernal. The area is beautiful and the "rock" is very impressive. We viewed it from a distance and then up close, but didn't hike up. Afterward we went into town for lunch. The village is lovely...More
