If you can get out to the memorial, I would recommend that everyone should pay their respects to those who lost their lives during Hurricane Katrina. We took the Canal St, streetcar and it took about 40 mins.
It’s hard to think what this city went through with hurricane Katrina. No better way to honour those who lost their lives and for the massive impact it had on their lives. It’s a must visit and can be included with many city tours.
