About
This was once the summer retreat of Tipu Sultan. It’s a good place for hiking and birding. The hill also has temples dating back to the Chola period. It gets extremely crowded on weekends. The hills offer great views of the surroundings, though.

Nice drive up the hill. Additionally good for children as there is a beautiful park where they play. Spaces are available for picnic. Good amount of time can be spent as it is also nice and cool. Should be visited atleast once and if possible...More

We went on a weekend, the road journey was good and should be careful while driving on ghat. Shouldn't miss the sun rise, for that one should start early innthe morning. You can find bikers going there. Overall a good trip

Its beautiful ride till hill. there are old temples, garden and great views from top. Its tough to reach there for sunrise but one may plan for sunset views and come back after sunset.

Karnataka Horticultural department has few guest houses on the hills so you can query about wheel chairs on the booking page else stay at any of the resort which are at the base who will have wheel chairs and you can drive... More

Nandi Hills can be reached by private mode of transportation or you can trek the hills on your own which is fun ... BMTC has service till the base because the climb is steep else you can hire any private vehicles to reach... More
