We booked early access and received a text to say the lodge was ready so we could arrive even earlier than booked. The lodge was perfect. It had everything we needed, including a dishwasher. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Perfect for...More

Decided to stop here for a leg stretch on the way to Dunoon and so glad that we did. What a beautiful place, and fresh fresh air. We followed the red marker posts all the way round and were treated to some amazing views. It...More

Highly recommend this beautiful walk. Make sure you bring your camera as it is almost importable to take a bad photo here. We spent the better part of an hour doing the loop walk. There were steep inclines and rocky/uneven surfaces throughout the walk. Anyone...More

Beautiful place, defintely reccommend it. But! The path was partly closed and the signage re-directing was appalling (we're pretty decent interpreting maps too). Met several frantic and scared people who were worried they were going the wrong way - some had got lost and went...More

Enchanting walk up the glen, it can be extended by adding a few of the other trails. Recommend walking clockwise from the car park parallel with the road and walking all the way up the glen from there. One of the best short walks I’ve...More

My husband and I went here for the first time yesterday and followed the gorge trail. Strenuous climbing up and down, but the views made it more than worthwhile for the aching .muscles, spectacular, nature at its best, will return

A fabulous place to go for a walk with a dog. It is like walking in a magical kingdom, with huge trees all around and you might think that you were in another world

This is an amazing walk with the most stunning scenery, it’s slippery underfoot in parts but not difficult. We walked alongside the water and back through the woods.

Although it might be a wee bit slippy in the rain, this isn’t a particularly strenuous walk, and it really is worth the effort. There is something about the colours of the mossy rocks and tree trunks that imparts an almost primeval atmosphere, and if...More

You need to see this. Best if it rains. Just wear good shoes. The walk is uphill for a little way but the way down through the glen is worth it. Say hi to the lucky tree.

I've seen other walkers with their small children there, they just take it at a leisurely pace. There are handrails in the main glen part but not so much on the walk to that. It can be a little steep in places but not too... More

We found out that on Sundays there are no buses which would go that direction and therefore a local taxi provider runs a "taxi shuttle service" to the Benmore Botanic Garden, which costs £3 per person. We just simply went to... More
