Worth the rather expensive taxi ride from Zanjan. Well preserved ruins from different periods. Lots of places to explore. Good English brochure. Kids would enjoy this- just watch them near the lake (no fences). We came here on a sunny day and it was idyllic....More

There's sort of an impromptu guest house about 5km down the road at the next gas station. Not really catering to travellers, but a reasonable shelter for 1 night.
