Fab time had by all of us at Warkworth Castle. Easter adventurer event gave the little ones the chance to take part in a really good coronation, with dressing up and role play. And the treasure chest hunt was great, particularly given there are lots of hidden rooms and stairwells to explore. Parking is refunded when you go inside, don't... More

First time here and we have all enjoyed it especially the kids 6/10. It's an English heritage site so a cost to get in but you can easily spend 2 hours here if not more. Kids enjoyed the treasure chest hunt today. Also some beautiful views would definitely recommend. Also enjoy a nice walk in to warkworth along the river... More

A castle that is like a rabbits warren. Full of rooms to explore. In a well preserved state and plenty of room to roam around.

Among the castles I've been to this is definitely one of the best, up there with the one in Bouillon in Belgium. Loads of stairs and rooms to explore inside the castle itself and lots to see in the grounds. The views of the surrounding area are also very nice. A must see if you're in the area.

Been here a few times and enjoy every time. A brilliant attraction and well worth a visit if you are staying in Northumberland or passing through. A good family day out.

This was on our list of things to do during our first visit to Northumberland, and it didn't disappoint. We arrived at opening time and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, giving us all the information we needed. There were lots of nooks and crannies for the kids to explore and we had a good look round the fascinating... More

We visited on a beautiful April afternoon. We took the audio guide which was interesting. Well worth a visit - especially if you an English Heritage member.

We spent an enjoyable couple of hours visiting Warkworth Castle. It was a late afternoon visit and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The staff were very helpful, there is plenty of parking space and the castle is stunning. We were able to investigate all the nooks and crannies, I don't think anywhere was out of bounds. If... If you're in the area it's definitely worth a visit. The hermitage was a great little extra. If you've got English heritage membership it's definitely worth combining with other local site's
