I like to go to this place to walk with my family and have a broiled corn with cheese, mmmm... and many other fun snacks. The blocks near the Santuario give the sensation of a small town in the middle of a big city.

One word... SUBLIME! We will definitely come back and stay overnight, with enough time to participate in Mass and sit down to chat with one of the Franciscan Frays. Excellent coffee at the coffee shop next door, plenty of spiritual and catholic readings and artifacts...More

I went there with no expectation, in my mind, it will be another church visit. Not at all!! This Cathedrale is a great place to go. Amazing place to visit in Guadalajara. If you visit Guadalajara you should take an hour to visit the Santuario...More

If you are In Guadalajara, take an hour to go to Zapopan and go visit the basílica ande walk In the beautiful Plaza de las Américas. You will feel the authentic mexican ambience ande culture!

Do not miss the special dates when Nuestra Señora de Zapopan is celebrated just be aware of the crowded area, an experience on its own.

People are visiting and praying here throughout the day. The hige columns are reminders of marble or granite as is in Europe, but here it is all concrete. One of the largest pipe organs and beautiful stained glass windows are also magnificent.

This is a very nice historic church, on a very traditional part of town. The architecture is very eclectic, and there are multiple attractions nearby, Recommended.
