It's not far off the main road (Hwy 7) and it's pretty. That's about it! I did not see hiking trails or access to the mine. Wouldn't a zip line across be amazing?! I'd do that.

You would almost think there would be more to see or more areas that were open to the public to go see. Or maybe a tour !!!! Not really worth the drive unless you were driving by.

A pit full of water some will say, and they are right. But because of the specifics the water is a beautiful blue and now the pit is a lovely place to visit.

It's really a nice place to visit. It is beautiful and relaxing. Interesting to read the story around this mine which once was an important employer in the area.
