Dodds Wood provides a great opportunity, not only to watch the amazing Ospreys but also to enjoy a variety of walks and other wildlife throughout the wood. Some of the climbs are quite steep but well worth making the effort. The RSPB support staff are...More

We walked via one of the longer walks around to the Lower lookout, there were Osprey volunteers their to help advise you in the direction to look to see them, they had amazing scopes set up for viewing.

We visited Dodds Wood for the prime purpose to see red squirrels and secondly to view the ospreys. We were fortunate that we saw three red squirrels on and around the feeders at the lower Osprey watch post. The volunteers who manned the Osprey watch...More

Lovely views and scenery with an amazing stream right through the middle. This has on site parking that costs about £3 and has a cafe on site. Really worth a visit but the walks are very hard and could be signposted better.
