Interesting museum

Interesting museum about the life of the Polo family, their travels and the time they spent in the different countries and the 17 years spent at the court of Kublai Kahn.

As long you're willing to spend time listening to an audio guide and don't mind wandering up and down stairs, this could be an interesting experience. One of our party couldn't face the stairs. Another already knew a lot about Marco Polo. And the third couldn't be bothered listening to all the stories on the guide. As we were all... More

Nothing to see, a guy who works in museum, selling tickets was so rude, that i didn't want to come in, although i bought tickets. But, the girl from a shop, Bosnian is awesome. She is refreshment.

It is nice to see what they can make from a legend. Marco Polo was from Venice but any story can have different descriptions and presentations of them. It is good place for a short visit.

We saw the sign for the museum and decided to give a whirl. So glad we did. The audio guide is very useful and I learned many things that I did not know before. The small vignettes to accompany the stories were very well done and put you in the right frame of mind to listen carefully.

If you're really bored and the weather is rainy or chilly you might find it a bit of a time killer. I recommend the Wikipedia page for your facts. Otherwise, I think I'd pass.

Our family of 5 visited this museum in July 2016. The museum was closing up in 15 minutes but the attendant kept it open a few extra minutes to accommodate us - much appreciated! The iPods make this tour a no-fuss, no-brainer activity. Our littlest child can't yet read so this was an excellent way for him to learn about... More

Too small and it wasn't really a museum. They have some wax models that presumably tell the story of Marco Polo. You are better off searching about Marco Polo's life on the Internet.
