There's a covered area to watch the waves hit the rocks. There are about 20 short steps, but you could watch from ground level, too. There's also a nice pavilion if you want a picnic. Can be pretty windy but gorgeous views.

Out of the way, not well noted, more of a local county park with picnic spots and swingsets. Unsurpassed views

Quiet place to kick back. Nice and cooler beach with limited sunshine Rough Rocky Beach. looks like the real, wild Hawaii. Mainly only a few locals here with the occasional tourist driving through. Nice to take a nap on the grass or in car for 30 minutes or so.

wonderful quiet place to sit and watch. Early morning is best because no wind and no waves. Fishermen go out in kayaks.

If you go to the Pololu Lookout, take a few minutes and stop at the Keokea Beach Park on your way back. It is a nice, quiet, park with some nice views. Not worth a trip by itself, but a nice add-on to an existing trip.

On a whim we drove east from Hawi and came across Keokea Park. The park itself is about two miles down a paved road from the entrance - it was just a beautiful serine place to just sit and watch the rough ocean crashing into the cliffs and different types of red birds. Oh and there is a small historic... More

We stopped at the park, just to take a peek at what was near the house we are staying at. The park is well maintained, with picnic facilities, and bathrooms. The beach is rocky and the water is a bit rough, so probably not the right choice for families wanting to be in the water. It was a great place... More

Awesome park Maui visible on clear days. There are no bathrooms and covered shelters here. If you are lucky you may see some of the local kids surfing this rough water.

Rocky beach, crashing waves (on the right day). Something soothing and wild about it. The surf was high and maybe the tide was in because we didn't really see any beach area. Picnic benches and behind you as you look towards the ocean, a really nice large covered area for a large party/celebration. With nice restrooms. We didn't have a... More

This park offers many picnic facilities, large bathrooms and shower facilities. A beautiful beach to swim and enjoy the view. Very family friendly. One child even rescued our sandals when we were taking pictures of ourselves wading in the water and a wave came in and pulled our shoes out into the water.
