After biking the Heaphy we stopped for a well deserved coffee and home baked carrot cake in the sunshine! Great atmosphere and what a spot. An authentic rural corner store/post office owned by a lovely couple! Thank you!

It was stepping back int a past life, early NZ. I had a cappuccino with the milk a bit to frothy, okay but not brilliant. We had scones with jam and cream which were very nice. We would return again.

Worth a trip. Great history from proprietor. Lovely afternoon tea. Lots of vintage knick knacks and a few bits of local crafts.

We stopped in for a coffee and scone to this small but interesting store. With 1960's/70's and before memorabilia to look at and remember your childhood and also the opportunity to purchase most of the items.
