Walnut forest the biggest forest in Kyrgyzstan. Pegas Adventure organised for us hiking and horse riding. The big waterfall is around 4 hours two-way with the last part a bit of a bouldering exercise. I think best time to visit in july and october

The forests are very huge. But the trip I liked the most is going to the waterfalls. Also a nice place to know different Uzbek culture and dishes.

Beautiful area for a day of hiking in the surroundings of Arslanbob. CBT can help you arrange several hiking tours. Guides are local and very friendly.

Hi Heather, there are a number of lakes along the road (if you're travelling by road). Lake Toktogul is that largest one on the way and would be worth a visit. There is also a national park (biosphere reserve) Sary Chelek... More
