At The Millbrook we pride ourselves on the warm welcome that we offer all, regardless of age or golfing experience. Whether you are a seasoned golfer looking to join a friendly vibrant club, an occasional golfer out to play with friends or completely new to the game and keen to learn then we’re sure that you’ll find that this is just the place for you. Nestling in woodland by the delightful village of Millbrook, we are in a beautiful part of Bedfordshire between Woburn and the historic market town of Ampthill. We are therefore conveniently situated just 10 minutes from M1 jct 13, 25 minutes from central Milton Keynes and only 2 minutes from Center Parcs Woburn Forest. Our elevated position on the Greensand Ridge means we can offer year-round playability and are blessed with unrivaled views of our rural surroundings. Once you arrive you’ll be amazed at how tranquil our setting is!

Great food in the clubhouse, we had a lovely roast dinner, great choice of meats and plenty of vegetables. Delicious !

Our 4 ball played in very hot conditions , first time on this course and found it a tough game, very up and down and the ball travelled a long way, defined greens were slower than our home clubs but understand it as very hot, fairways were rock hard and dry .
Some fairways had big 90 degree turns but were fair.
Lots of fairway slopes going in every direction and easy to see your ball going into trees .
You need to be driving straight.
There is a lot of ups and downs on this course.
Over all a good challenge on the golf course.
I scored 37 points so if I can do it ?
Clubhouse looks after you and we are 4 different meals and we all said the food was excellent.
Good selection of drinks also.
So the question is- would I play it again ?
Yes but would try and play when the fairways are green and lush.
Some fairways had big 90 degree turns but were fair.

Not a massive golfer but played here today as part of a golf society day

Immaculate and quite challenging in parts too with some long old holes

On route to the pro shop we passed where the buggies are parked up, we were a four ball so we wanted two buggies as we had a later tee off.
the guy in the pro shop kept saying if we weren't disabled we can't have one? i asked how many more groups were playing after us as it was later in the day and he replied one. there were four buggies free so i still don't understand the issue, we didn't know the costs but were willing to pay anyway, i'm assuming like most clubs they're roughly £25, the club could have taken an extra £50 from us? is this just business basics - sell your products!
We soldiered on having not played the course before we did have a few blunders, it was getting dark around 4 in the evening and we couldn't see our balls after teeing off even though the were on the fairway!
Won't return in a hurry!

Good afternoon
I'm sorry to hear about your issues surrounding buggy hire at the club. Can I ask when you experienced these issues please? I'm assuming if it was dark at 16:00 it was during winter?
If this is the case, then we might have had a buggy ban in place. Hence not being able to hire one that seemingly looked available.
Please let me know further details and I'll be sure to offer you the opportunity of a return visit including a buggy!

2 course meal £23 and the steaks are excellent. I had the rib eye and it was as tender as could be. Nice place, nice staff I will be back

Really nice food, 3 meats on offer, 2 are included, if you want all 3 just an extra £1. Proper cooked joints and loads of vegetables and Yorkshire pudding.

If you're a non member it'll cost you £25 to hire a buggy. Members are charged £17.50. Millbrook Golf Club discriminates against non members by charging them more for buggies. Beware.

Had an excellent meal. The rib eye steak was cooked perfectly for my friend and I and my husbands rump steak was 'beautiful' too. Service was great and the homemade lemon cheesecake was one of the best we had tasted.
