I went there to see the sunrise and it was truly awesome experience! We actually walked up the hill - took us like 15 minutes (not 40 as I heard before), but either way is good - on foot or by ATV (was around 200...More

I had a nightmare journey out there, motorbike broke down and cops stopped me on the way back. There were some dunes that were white. It was a contrast to the red sand but otherwise little to differentiate from other dunes I have seen. Might...More

White Sand Dunes is interesting place to go. It is very close to city, just few minutes. You can rent a plastic board and go down the hill. It is fun.

We visited here as part of a guided tour. We quad bikes through the dunes (I would recommend paying extra for the better quad bikes if you want to go up high) which was fun.

If you have the time, walk around these dunes. The views are lovely and far from what you would expect in Vietnam, but more o some desolate landscape in North Africa. ATV and Jeep hire is expensive and in my opinion not worth it, if...More

We didn't book any tours as we didn't feel it was necessary. Went there by ourselves instead. Left hotel at 430am, took a cab and we reached the White sand dunes in half hour's time. Was able to catch the beautiful sunrise around 515am. If...More

The white sand dune was surprisingly disappointed. Since the powder was not that great and there were too many marks of the vehicles' tires running around on the sand. It's just worth a quick visit, in my opinion. And btw beware of the scam of...More

You can walk or pay for 200k for an ATV when you reach there. Our driver of the tour showed us bad attitude/ service because we choose to walk.

Take Jeep tour is better than you go by yourself, some Jeep tour included white and red sand dunes and fishing village, it’s more worth. But the when you reach white sand dunes, there are another charge for transport to send you to the sand...More

You should be able to rent a motorbike no problem. They will probably ask for a copy of your passport or some kind of deposit. Just have to be careful of police because you can technically be fined.

Not too sure throughout the day but when I was there during sunrise, per person was 300,000 vnd but were not able to ride on our own. There will be a guide who will bring us up and down.
