This is a hidden gem. I almost hate to reveal it. The crowds are light and the water is crystal clear. It was hard to leave this beautiful, expansive, largely public beach. The cove it sits in frames it perfectly, and the village is large...More

The place itselve is toursitic, but seems to have something from a old-french town. Most beach is private where you can rent out a umberalla with some recycling chairs, but the shores of the beach are public, including all the rocks and a small pier...More

A nice beach at Bonassola, part sandy and part pebbles. Clear water, and nice temperature for swimming (in summer). When we were there in September, the waves were huge the first few days. No problem for strong swimmers, but daunting for others. After a few...More

This is a nice beach in the small town of Bonassola on the Italian riviera. There's a private section were you'll have to pay for sun chairs, and there's also a common section, which is free for everybody. Bonassola is not too crowded (even during...More

Very nice quiet beach. The people were very friendly. Loved the town too! One of our favorite spots on Cinque Terre because there aren't crowds.

Further away from the Cinque Terre crowds with lots of fun to be had. The town itself is quiet and has lots of uphill trails that lead to lovely views. Everything was less expensive than Levanto or any of the Cinque towns.

Great spot for a dip at the end of our bike ride from Levanto. Very hot day, so our feel were not used to the hot pebbles and we only had gym shoes on.... a very erratic trip to the water. The locals were very...More

The water here is amazing (as it is all along the coast) but the beach and town are more relaxed and down to earth than other spots near Cinque Terre. Definitely recommend staying here!

Nice beach, with some nice bars. You can hire a parasol and sunbeds, but they are expensive. A part of the beach you can use for your own parasol. Drink a spritz aperol in the bar located on the left side of the beach (looking...More

The beach is stunning, but it could be a bit cleaner. Also the prices are quite high (30eur for two sunbeds and one umbrella). We loved the sand and the waves.
