About
Historically visited for therapeutic and medicinal purposes since the 7th century, the thermal springs here are no longer in operation, but you can still explore the ancient bathing areas. Instead, chill out at the pebbly beach and cove and soak in the area's natural beauty, surrounded by trees and lush vegetation. Bring snorkels to spot fish darting around the rocks and enjoy ice-cold beverages on the sunbeds available for rent. There are shower facilities, a cafe, a shop with souvenirs and provisions, as well as a cat sanctuary near the entrance before you enter the springs. – Tripadvisor

    Terrific Archtecture
My Review is based purely on the Killithea Springs Buildings and not the Beach Areas. We were part of a small Tour and as such entry was €3.00. The Architecture and Construction of the place is second to none and you can see why even with modern techniques when is was renovated it took around ten years to finish. Some of the Mosaics are superb.

The best. You must go here.
I cannot express how good this place is. We stayed in Faliraki (my girlfriend and I) and it was a short, cheap bus journey away. This place is worth every single penny that you pay for it. We got up early and got here for 9:30am, and got some lovely sun beds right on the beach front (it cost 30€ for 2 beds for the whole day but price drops the further on into the day). The beach is stony so bring some slides or sea shoes! It has its own private bay where you can swim in crystal clear waters, looking out into the Aegean Sea. There are also some lovely buildings on the site, really picturesque, quintessentially Greek architecture and some lovely views from the top of some of the buildings. Water is inexpensive (3.50€ per L), and is brought over to your sunbed with an ice bucket. Soft drinks by the bottle cost around the same too. It also has an amazing restaurant with lovely food that, despite being slightly pricey, is worth what you pay for. I cannot recommend the beef linguine enough. This review sounds a bit naff but I can’t put into words how stunning this place is. If I could give 10* I would. It is the best place I have ever been to. It is the most tranquil, beautiful, breathtaking place that I’ve seen with my own two eyes and I cannot stress how much you should go if you’re ever in Rhodes. Amazing.

    Heaven
This is the fourth time I have visited here. Such an amazing, beautiful and relaxing place. Beautiful bay and clear waters for swimming. Very picturesque and stunning spas . If I hadn’t got married in St Paul’s bay I would have come here. It is totally stunning. Lovely food and drinks. Sun beds a bit expensive at 15 euros but worth it. Had lovely day out with family and friends

    Stunning kalithea springs
Beautiful cove on the main bus route between Rhodes town and faliraki. Stunning scenery. Crystal clear water. Exceptionally clean including toilet facilities. Only 4euro in. Sun beds extra. Have a restaurant and bar. We arrived early as heard it gets busy later. A must see if in Rhodes.

    Must see!
It cost €6 to enter. It takes around an hour to walk around. Very impressive gardens and buildings. There is a beach onsite however the sun beds are expensive. Toilets on site and a cafe. A must see if it is your first time in Rhodes.

Super nice, but why ticket is higher for foreigners?
Me and my spouse loved that place. We went 3 times, 2 for swimming. One think is not understandable for us... Why we as Greek pay 2.5 Euro per person while foreigners pay 4 Euro per person. Yes, it is an advantage for us, but still doesn't feel nice.

    Well worth a visit!
Beautiful space to spend a lovely day out! Cheap entry fee (€6-8 euros, can’t remember exactly!) and a beautiful location for some food and a drink by the bay, as well as a lovely building to explore! Sunbeds are available for hire, something like €25 for the day, but we chose a table at the cafe with a few drinks and a beautiful pizza - the food is fantastic and good value for the portion sizes!

    Tunnel
Short trip but fun going through tunnel. It's pitch dark and water runs on the really narrow walkway. Take water sandals. There is no turning back once you start walk in tunnel. Take a torch!

A great way to spend a day
We were staying five minutes away from Kallithea Springs, so decided to visit as our hotel’s beach wasn’t great. We paid 4 EUR each for entry and 25 EUR for two sun beds with an umbrella, which seems to be a lot less than other beach clubs on the island charge. We got there around 11am and only a few beds were already occupied so we had plenty of choice. You can access the sea from either a ladder or a small beach. It’s very rocky so flip flops or sea shoes are recommended, but the sea itself is pretty calm. We had lunch at the restaurant on site; there was plenty of choice, prices were reasonable and the service was great. I was impressed at the space and the quality of the food as I’d read some previous reviews referring to it as a ‘small cafe’. There is also a museum detailing the history of the spring with great views across the sea. Overall this was a great way to spend our day. A lot of the other beach clubs appear to be style over substance and cater only to young, Instagram crowds, but this was perfect for couples and families.

What stunning location to relax in the sun. Easy access to the sea for a swim, enjoy a boat ride and have a meal and drink. I would advise maybe wearing something on your feet as it is a rocky location with lots of pebbles.

Getting people in their 30s or feeling so. Most go to small bay sunbeds, if you arrive before noin, you might get one (25 eur). You can order drinks and food there. The buildings worth for 15 mins visit, 1930s feeling. 5 eur to get in.

Lovely place for a day out.

We went to Rhodes town for the day from Lindos and were looking for a beach nearby to spend a few hours.

I came across this place and was intrigued! 15-20 mins from Lindos town, you enter this beautiful site (€5 per adult).

You can walk along and see the beautiful venue (quite a few stairs). At the bottom there is a bay / pebble beach with sun loungers and umbrellas. The beach itself is quite small, if you weren’t to take a lounger, I wouldn’t really know where you could lay.

There are plenty of loungers (we paid €30 for two beds + umbrella) as well as a small shop or a restaurant which overlooks the clear water.

The restaurant was big, with plenty of tables and areas to sit (you can also order food and drinks to your lounger if more convenient).

Service was good, staff were friendly and helpful. Food was tasty too!

Bathrooms on the site were also very clean.

Definitely worth a visit and visit if you’re looking for a different kind of beach day!

€5 entry fee per person is reasonable. This does not include access to the sunbeds and umbrellas. We didn't rent these. Instead we left our bags and shoes on the small beach which seemed to be a common thing to do. The place is lovely and has clear, shallow water to swim in. The restaurant/bar within leaves much to be desired however.

Nice to visit but VERY TINY BEACH! We sat on our towels for 45 minutes and had a swim, which was very nice but it was very hot and pebbly beach, so not great to lie on. A few Others had the same idea, quick dip n go.
I think the majority hire subeds for the day. BUT the food is EXPENSIVE! So ask to see the menu before you decide to go in. Or take sandwiches and your own drinks. As you pay 5 euros to enter through the gates.
There isn’t a lot to see at all. Maybe more a place to be seen? Also lots of boats visit just to look at the bay. It’s overpriced, over crowded and over commercialised. We went end June and it was busy so anticipate double that over summer holidays?
Quickly went to get pics of the springs as hubby was flagging in 34 degree heat.
Parking under trees but if you carry on driving round there’s a free big car park. Now ticked off my to do list as done but wouldn’t return.

We had our wedding here on the 14th of June 2024.

If you are looking for a beautiful venue in Rhodes- this is it!

The main setting in the dome is lovely, plenty of space for up to 60/70 guests and it's covered over so offers some shade in the hot weather.

We then went down to the bottom of the springs, near the arches for our evening reception by the sea which was also fantastic.

Parts of the venue were made private for our wedding, but even the parts that weren't all of the locals and tourists were so respectful and lovely!

We had our wedding ceremony at Kallithea Springs in June 2024. We had a small ceremony with 18 of us altogether. The ceremony location in the Rotunda was beautiful. Although it was a hot day of around 33c, there was plenty of shade in the Rotunda and a breeze, which made the temperature much more tolerable. After the ceremony, we had organised a champagne reception, so the guests were entertained whilst we had professional photographs taken. Kallithea Springs is still open to the public during wedding ceremonies and with members of the public still present (although not permitted to enter the Rotunda), it resulted in minimal disruption to photography. The venue is stunning and we have received many beautiful photographs. Compared to wedding ceremony hire costs in the UK, I feel Kallithea Springs is extremely good value for money. All of the guests absolutely loved the venue too.

The location is stunning and definitely worth visiting when in Rhodes. However, there can be issues with communication regarding events. For example, we weren't informed about a wedding taking place during our visit despite reaching out via email beforehand. We were told we didn't need a reservation for that particular day. We arrived , paid for entry, and then discovered parts of the place were closed off for a wedding. The staff handled the situation poorly without offering an apology, and being rude… and there was even an instance of a staff member dishonestly claiming she had informed us at the entrance. In reality we were asked to pay 3€ with no info at all. To avoid similar frustrations, I strongly recommend verifying at the entrance if any private events are scheduled and which areas these might affect at what time.

The beach is gorgeous and the sea water is lovely. However, the bar is very expensive, entry is €5 euros and sunbeds are €25 euro. There are lots of staff at the restaurant/ bar but the majority of them were crowded in one space and didn’t really seem like they knew what they were doing. Bill, one of the staff around the sunbeds was very helpful though and friendly. However I would say the service from the other members of staff was very slow and poor for the amount of money we were paying. Also the beach area is quite small so at certain times was quite crowded.

The place is a lovely visit if you are in Rhodes. The view is pretty and the architecture is great to look at. The water is perfect to swim in too, especially on a hot day. The only thing that lets this down is the unadvertised cost of the sunbeds which is €25! This is sort of unavoidable as there is no where to place a towel otherwise as minimal beach. This cost would probably be more welcomed if advertised, which is a bit of a shame as the entry fee was reasonable. Overall a good day out, just be prepared to spend money.
